If you add white vinegar to load, you won’t get the ick from clothes sitting in washer for hours.

Here’s a terrible rec for price considerations: Penrose.

They make the best-smelling waxes I have ever encountered. If you’re someone who is sensitive to the complexities and subtleties of smells, their waxes are god tier. You will find something to adore.

But, they’re not cheap, so a poor answer to your question.

It’s kind of amazing that we don’t hear more stories of abused ex-students retaliating against specific teachers and administrators when the kids get older.

When I was in high school, many decades ago, we had an 11th grade teacher who treated students like shit—and took a kind of delight in her cruelty. A year after having her, a group of six seniors broke into her car, late on a Saturday night, and totaled it by destroying every bit of the interior, dash, stick shift column, and windows. It was a testament to how despised she was that it was pretty well known who had done it, but no one ever ratted them out.

Can you explain how that is responsive to the relief that this subjectivity gets to exit the stage?

I’m not sure that attacking the idea of the plea itself is right. Plea deals are useful in a well-run juridical model.

Instead, prosecutors should be barred from overcharging as a form of coercion, which is plainly what they often do today. Some combo of state legislators, the state supreme courts, and the ABA should create guardrails for charging decisions.

Finally, as I understand its history, the broad use of overcharging is a fairly recent development that arose because other parts of our system broke down or were overwhelmed, often because of underfunding and/or political expedience.

Actually commit, or arrested for, or convicted for? I’m on mobile and can’t dive the PDF, but “commit” sounds like it’s a denominator, not a numerator.

What’s the typical damage done to the careers of folks who mistakenly claim cold fusion or room-temp superconductor discoveries?
