Damn, I did not expect such a step-up from the 7800X3D, that's kinda insane actually.

Reminder that he is a malignant narcissist, and is biologically incapable of accepting blame, responsibility or personal faults. As per the Narcissist's Prayer:

That didn't happen.

And if it did, it wasn't that bad.

And if it was, that's not a big deal.

And if it is, that's not my fault.

And if it was, I didn't mean it.

And if I did, you deserved it.

Apparently Rule 34 art of said goblin outnumber art of all the rest of the cast combined. Not a review per se, but... at least the playerbase seem to share your enthusiasm?

They're letting Trump get away with murder here. I expected nothing but am still disappointed. He's basically running with a hot mic while Kamala has to wait for her turn. Unbelievable.

Unsurprisingly he's also bulldozing the hosts in typical fashion. They at least seem to occasionally try some pushback against him, but they seem woefully incapable of actually controlling him.

There are going to be major shenanigans in November. I fear Trump loyalists have had too much time to prepare this time and gotten too emboldened. I love riding the high of the current wave of rare optimism, but it just feels like there is no chance Harris just wins, gets certified and sworn in and that's that, right? Either Trump wins legit, or they manage to steal the election.

I really hope I'm wrong.

That one is great, and I will also promote !newcommunities@lemmy.world - which additionally hosts a "weekly active communities promotion thread".

I don't know how recent his numbers were, but John Oliver did his latest show on RFK and the numbers were pretty alarming. Add Jill Stein to the mix too and it's a bit worrisome.

Ghost of Tsushima is one of the most overrated games of all time. It's a perfectly fine experience carried by solid combat and high polish, but far from being one of the best games of all time. The writing and acting is monotonously dour and the quest design is uninspiring, which wears you out because the game is also way too long for what little variety it offers. The open world is also your bland, boring, garden variety Ubisoft style.

Romances in BG3 are poorly written and realized and detract from the quality of the game. BG3 in general is merely "fine for a video game" in terms of writing. People also let the game get away with murder in terms of how much it falls apart in the third act.

Cyberpunk 2077 - despite all its flaws - is CDPR's best game.

Evil is hard to pull off well, very few games manage to make evil playthroughs actually interesting. A lot of the time it just means more slaughter, which in turn means less content since you kill off so many potential quest givers and followers. Plus, a lot of "evil answers" in dialogue often just means being an asshole to people, which usually closes potential content avenues. And while that is sort of realistic (people don't want to work with you if you're an ass to them) it's not really that satisfying.

Immersion features are also important for roleplaying, it's just a different kind of roleplaying really.

They did indeed release a new engine optimization mod, separate to the standard mandatory-install Stewies Tweaks. The past year has been crazy for NV mods.

Surviving the server overload and memory leaks around and following July 1st taught me to copy any long post to clipboard before pressing post, and this habit has served me well.

Otherwise if you haven't checked it out already, the Voyager app has a confirmation prompt before cancelling post.
