I wonder if these services are on small cloud providers. If so then they can just block their entire CIDR.

I wonder if they were to move to GPC if they would have better luck.

Republicans women think they will be the exception. They will be allowed because they aren't sluts looking to be loose on Tinder.

These women are like all conservatives: thinking the rules exist only to oppress their opponents and will never be used against them.

Arbitration, generally, is not a bad idea. It's less formal and usually less expensive when you have a disagreement. It really is designed for, say, two friends who are going into business together and want to keep things friendly while giving each other the ability to seek an external arbitor.

However, it's our late stage capitalism that has made forced arbitration an abomination, with corporations seeking to limit their liability by making it unprofitable for individuals to seek legal remedies against very large corporations. Corporations that have the legal equivalent of nukes verses the average customer who has a peashooter.

I'm at the point whenever I see these clauses to snail mail then my own terms and if they don't react, I assume that my terms were accepted. I've been doing this now for the last few years and have yet to have a company shut off my service or reply back.

"He means what he says!"

"That's just locker room talk."

Often said one right after the other.

Even then it should be easy to add an additional field in their ad profile. Like "provide a list of domains your ads will go to."

And then set up some sort of domain authentication similar to let's encrypt or SPF records.

I literally wrote like a week ago for a guide like this

This is awesome and answers so many questions. I kept trying to force IPv6 addresses to my machines and they kept not doing it! I also didn't know they would have multiple addresses.

It's out of character for her to get caught.

Imo, there are too many good artists and not enough of a market.

The problem with the market is that they don't want to pay what artists want. For every one person who wants a bespoke painting is about 30 people who are okay with mediocre and probably couldn't tell the difference between someone who spent weeks versus a few hours on a painting.

I'm not saying artists don't deserve to get paid. There are just not enough people willing to pay what they want. Is AI stealing their jobs? Probably. But they weren't getting those jobs in the first place.

A few years ago, I was looking for an art student who would be willing to paint a very simple beach painting for me. Nothing fancy and really I probably could have done it on my own. There was an art school nearby and I went to a showcase and asked around. For an 8x10 canvas, it was going to be $1k minimum.

That's insane. I wasn't asking for detail. Just something with a sky, ocean, and sand. I found something similar to what I was looking for at a yard sale for $5.

I was willing to pay up to $300 with the possibility of doing more commissions down the road.

During the pandemic, I ended up taking some painting classes and learned to do the simple painting on my own for the price of a good bottle of wine.

Exactly. The problem is that too many of the world's leaders don't want to upset the capital holders by limiting greenhouse gases.

These people are literally the people that Alfred told Bruce Wayne about: some men just want to see the world burn.

But at least we created some great shareholder value.

It's because the problem was being poor.

So...stop being poor.

It's easy. He just proved it!

(Massive /s but sadly, for the privileged guy, not sarcasm)

I actually really liked the book over the movie. I felt like the book did a much better job of describing the dystopian world and how the MC (can't remember his name and too lazy to look it up) and the world at large more or less dealt with it.

Iirc the movie doesn't even go into the history of the digital world and why the MC was obsessed with it. I get that movies and books are different but it seemed like the movie was "inspired" by the book and not based on it.
