Yeah it was pretty fucked up, what.cd had some some of the strictest content rules of any tracker. Just to get on you had to do an interview with an admin with questions ranging from "what kind of music do you listen to?" to "What is your primary mode of transportation?" I think it only had ~300,000 users, you had to maintain a ratio so that every member contributed to the site. Some big artists like Trent Reznor were members and would actually put their own albums up because they knew what users were super vocal about spreading stuff that they like.

Michigan has a very large Muslim community, there are about 3 times more people practicing Islam than Judaism there. I think at one point Dearborn had the largest Muslim population in the country. She probably doesn't want to go to far in either direction.

They can generate a bunch of medium to high karma accounts with genuine looking post history, then sign a deal with an advertising firm or lobby group to make posts on their behalf. They'll steal a bunch of posts like OP's then start posting stuff like "Biden is actually the most progressive president" and fill the comment section with some propaganda. This site sells a range of services.

Originally it was a space for artists. It was a music festival that didn't provide any music, musicians just showed up and performed so you would never know what you were going to see. Attendees were expected to literally be part of the event. Buying things, from food to drugs, was discouraged. You were supposed to just barter or provide for the community.
Obviously all that is out the window now. Its just a big wealthy orgy waiting to see Diplo.
I blame Vice and Netflix. People saw Euromaiden through Vice's reporting and the documentary that was on Netflix and just assumed it was leftists in favor of democracy kicking out a Russian backed dictator.

Yeah IIRC it was essentially a way for the early government to cheap out on arming an entire army. They allowed private stockpiles of guns so that a few rich dudes could arm their neighbors if need be.
