ASML must be by far the most influential Dutch company right now. I grew up in the region they started in and it grew from a regular company into an enormous mulitnational with a gigantic office park and they just keep growing and growing. The amount of money they have is insane. When they buy houses to put their expats in they regularly bid 70k over the market value and they couldn't care less.

No way to US can expect them or the Dutch government to just tank their biggest asset on the world stage lol.

There are very few based celebs worth listening to in The West. Roger Waters is one of them and I fail to name another one.

My point is: don't listen to celebs. Taylor Swift, a billionaire flying her private jet everywhere, does not have the same interests as you do.

I actually did stop buying made in China stuff when the first news articles about Uyghurs dropped and I completely believed them. It was such a pain in the ass to do lol.

They want to implement the law to tackle 'people rioting or doing other harmful activities' or some bullshit like that. But the definitions are so vague that someone blocking a road during a strike can also be arrested an trialed. So it basically limits the actions you can take while protesting or striking. And even then, someone who has been arrested during a protest or strikes loses their rights to do it in the future, regelardless of their motive. You'd effectively strip people of the right to stand up for themselves.
