On Nvidia it doesn't support game mode, so it just boots into the desktop, and also you can download a version that boots directly into the desktop or just tweak the files to make it the default.

I loved fable 1. I loved the story telling and atmosphere.

Fuck those people we will just keep our own stuff and use it. This is one reason I have been hanging on to old hardware. I can still play games 20 years from now on my old PCs.

I think it supports most of the common bands.

It's because game logic is calculated on real frames and these things lower the real frame rate even though they give you more rendered frames. If you were getting 40 real FPS, and then you go to 30 real fps, you will feel a significant amount of lag even if you are getting 60 fps in fake frames. Basically the game loop is running slower and stuff like input polling is happening slower even if you have a higher frame rate.

They are more like 20-25 years behind. Also they are going to keep pursuing their own chip technology even if the US has free trade with them. It's a critical security industry for them.

You should just get a cheap phone to use for work. No reason to have their software on your own device. That will undoubtedly be used for creepy purposes.

No spyware, much better performance and wear on your hardware. Actual control over your devices. The downside is, linux is complicated and a pain to learn how to use or maintain. Windows is easy to use but so is a vtech laptop which is essentiallly the trade off. It used to be that windows was easy to use and open as a platform, but microsoft is doing everything in its power to ruin windows. The modern developers also really suck and the modern codebase is buggy as hell. The OS kills your harddisks and ssds, even before the new broekn update because they are constantly scanning your files to send signitures to palantir or whatever. They are removing basic functionality and a few years from now I imagine you wont even be allowed to close or open apps, like with Android. It will just be full of ads and spyware and you will have to pay a subscription to use it or something. People have been jumping ship because at this point continuing to use windows is just going to make your life painful in the future.

Personally im very excited for this game. It will probably be a skyrimish light RPG, mostly an open world action game, but hopefully the storytelling and gameplay is fun. I dont particularly care about the DLC. Inflation has been crazy the past few years. It cost a ton of money to create a modern AAA game. I really dont think they do it out of greed, so much as a need to profit off a single player game where they cant sell skins and stuff. Hopefully its good.
