Still waiting for it on mobile
Let them find a better way to finance development than Google search. I'll just go downstream to Librewolf. It's a win/win.
I noticed that this morning for the first time. I was wondering why this happened. Had the Ctrl shift L stop working too.
I use following feed the most, but now that I think about it I need to check out the other feeds more often to find interesting follows. Same goes for trending and discover features, yeah, I'm on Pixeldroid. I rarely use the web too.
56, in Alabama. Pharmacist. Use Pop!_OS on a System76 Darter Pro. I've never used Reddit but I'm a regular on Mastodon and Pixelfed. Also use X. No other social media.
Dammit I saw the headline and thought they had already found a new CEO to replace the temp. I obviously didn't even read it yet. I can't believe the old story popped up again 🤬

Speaking of dark patterns, anyone use TurboTax lately?
A few years ago I felt the same way. I installed the Should I Answer? app and even limited calls to people in my contacts to get it under control.
I'm on a Pixel too. I'm in the USA and, at some point, Google got their act together on screening calls here. Most spam is rejected outright and the remaining ones get screened by the phone itself. I haven't had spam call in a couple of years now! And I don't have to use Should I Answer? anymore.
I enjoy Firefox as my default android browser because I enjoy the best reader mode and extensions like Dark Reader and UBO. 400+ extensions is more than enough for me. Last time I checked, Chrome offered zero extensions on mobile. It tracks me and sends ads.
Too bad people on mastodon don't have the ability to block an instance they find objectionable for themselves-- oh wait.
Not sure about Lemmy, but we can do this on mastodon. I don't need someone else deciding for me.
Tldr? Couldn't disagree more
Apparently that finally happened while we weren't looking. https://blog.mozilla.org/en/mozilla/firefox-androids-new-privacy-feature-total-cookie-protection-stops-companies-from-keeping-tabs-on-your-moves/
