Oh that is very nice. It was one of the things that made me wary of travelling in china, since it would have really limited me. Though I also heard you could just get the cops to get you a place at a hotel, if you didn't find one.

There are some german interviews with communist iranian exiles. From german socialist podcasts, since a lot of them are in Berlin, but i have never seen an english interview. I think

I arrived in Shiraz and went north from there, I spent a month in Teheran, because I liked the city so much, i didn't want to leave.

yeah 2019 for 2 months, have also been learning persian since coming back. Also a bunch of gay people in Iran, the scene in Teheran is very active, fro what I have been told.

I like the people and the culture, but the majority population is very poor and almost everyone you meet is in some way discontent with the goverment. But fruits are very good and cheap.

Also it isn't like people don't die more often from disease during war. So secondary deaths like that are not even counted here. It's just "How many people do you know that died in the war"(at least in the english translation"
