Eminem seems like a pretty cool guy. Don't know much about 50 other than that he got shot 9 times and owned vitamin water.

Even if he fails, our quality of life would significantly decrease. Not really wanting to become an insurgent and get my brains blown out by a delta force operator or something. Not saying we should back down in any case, but the prospect of an invasion like that is scary af.

Trump is a foreign spy that managed to gain control of his enemies military.

Whats the strategy?

Still different. They are way more advanced than us. And we have way less grit than either of those groups. The viet were willing to live in spider filled holes in the ground. Afghanistan had been at war for years when the us went in so they were hardened already. I think if the current administration had been in power during either of those wars, both countries would have been crushed. The political winds in the us have shifted towards extremism. Trump could totally throw us in concentration camps right now and genocide the entire country and I'm thinking he would get away with it since there would be no backlash at home. Half the people down there would be able to do the mental backflips to justify it and the other half is broken and weak. I genuinely think that Trump can do whatever he wants at this time and get away with it. He's already purged enough of the government of people with integrity that by now, he is untouchable. We are in danger beyond belief and nobody really seems to be alarmed enough.

His entire campaign is just spreading mass outrage. It's all he's good at. He's really good at talking smack and arguing with people. It's what works on conservatives. Make them mad about something.

More conservative hypocrisy

Life is vastly different than in the 80s. You can literally know anything you want right now, simply by asking an artificially intelligent handheld computer that has access to every discovery known to man. We're on the cusp of being able to cure almost any disease and live forever. We can blow the planet up 10x over and still have ammo left. Scientists can see so far away that they can almost see the beginning of time. Nothing your great grandfather saw in his life will compare to what you will see in yours, have already seen.

This is how I see it. My nature is conservative but I constantly see how conservative politicians are the worst and most evil people in our society. They take my naturally fearful and anxious nature and attempt to twist it into anger and hate so that I vote for them. But the mask is lifted at this point. I honestly don't know what I believe in anymore or what to think other than that any conservative politician is going to be at best a useful idiot for some billionaire and at at worst a dangerous power hungry narcissist committed to the destruction of any law or person that stands against him. Truly awful people. Not to say liberals are perfect, but at least there is some sense of duty in what they do. They at least want to make things better. I don't always agree with them, but i trust them. I don't trust conservatives anymore and don't know why I ever did.

The expanse is top tier tv. Not sure how it wasn't more popular. Community is gonna go down as one of the classics

I'm not religious anymore myself. Grew up Catholic. But my experience with it definitely seems to be different than a lot of other people. The priest we had was super progressive and inclusive. Didn't spout any of the fire and brimstone crap either. Actually tried to live the life of Jesus and told us to love and accept everyone, including gays and people from other religions, etc. I do realize this isn't the typical experience for most people though. I think father Matthew was genuinely a good guy and got into the faith because he actually wanted to help people.
