I'm skeptical that this is at all true, but it's not about being granted the job, but rather getting past the initial HR filtering and actually getting the chance to talk to a human.

Honestly, I know you mean we'll but I find statements like this extremely dangerous and damaging.

There isn't some 'international council of men' that could collectively sort anything out. Ideas like blaming the whole gender is part of the reason why we have a rise in far-right sentiment among young men, as it's easy to feel like the world is against you for things that you personally have no say in. Young men (just like anyone else) need support, and not to be blamed for bad-behavior of others!

Instead it's up to those of us (the vast majority) who don't represent toxic masculinity to set a compassionate example

I loved the books and found the netflix series to be a pretty enjoyable westernization of them.

There were a few changes/choices that were a bit strange or missed the point, but overall it's worth watching

My current place is super quiet. I essentially never hear anyone and it's quite relaxing.

I'm on the sixth floor in a building with 100 units, it's just built well.

Don't forget that green areas such as this massively cool cities as well (compared to asphalt).

Something which is becoming increasingly important due to climate change.

That's just saying "people who are in a social community are happier and more engaged than those that aren't" because most social communities are currently religious focused.

I'd like multiplayer shooters that put emphasis on clean visuals designed to transmit information as well as more emphasis on movement.

Even with all the hats, visibility in TF2 is a masterpiece compared to 90% of games. One team always bright red, one team is always bright blue. The maps aren't full of noisy scenery and still look great.

I know a few people who live in Amsterdam and they all said basically the same thing: as it currently is, most locals don't really go there because it's miserable due to all the poorly behaved tourists. I'm sure that there are plenty of locals that may disagree, but it seems to be mostly an area for tourists.

Like any situation there are going to be winners and losers, but I feel that this is most likely a fairly large net positive for most residents.

"It's far more stable than steam btw."

I'll admit I've only used Linux for the past 5-6 years, but I think the last time steam crashed for me was almost a decade ago or something? Is it not stable on windows anymore?

Safer for those driving, less safe for everyone else.

Mate, he played for PSG before. That's just as much an oil club.
