I, for one, have no idea who MrBeast is. Wish I also didn't know who Must was.

My heat pump can be controlled by an app but it all goes through an external web page for some reason so I noped out of it.

As a EV owner I don't worry about range that much but I'm constantly infuriated by the shitty charging experience. Charging at home is great but road trips are a constant pain in the ass. Let's face it, most people are not interested in switching to EV at all and will find an excuse until ICE cars are banned (I'm looking at you people with two family cars and private garage). You want to convince the people actually thinking about it? Make charging work.

It's not making Turing test obsolete. It was obvious from day 1 that Turing test is not an intelligence test. You could simply create a sufficiently big dictionary of "if human says X respond with Y" and it would fool any person that its talking with a human with 0 intelligence behind it. Turing test was always about checking how good a program is at chatting. If you want to test something else you have to come up with other test. If you want to test chat bots you will still use Turing test.

Tax the rich, regulate industry, punish CEOs and boards for crimes committed by corporations.

I've been to US and it's really hard to use public transport in places without sidewalks... Seriously, I once parked on the other side of the road from a cinema and discovered there's no way to cross the road without driving. The way everything is car focused goes way beyond poor lines and timetable. You would have to not only completely rebuild lots of infrastructure but also change culture and habits of most people living there.

In Poland you just tell them there's no more vodka.

Come on, he's too rich to actually face any consequences. In US rich people only go to jail if they steal a lot of money from other rich people or if they have dirt on them and have to disappear.

Question: if personalized ads are so great, why can't I just go into my google account's settings and put there all the info about me? My income, my interests, ages of my children, my favorite food... Since personalized ads are so good every google users will just fill it in to get the best ads possible, right? Why not give people this option instead of implementing all this trackers?
