oops it's 1943: https://digital.library.unt.edu/ark:/67531/metadc439/

Looks like there's another poster with a very similar name made the year before

sounds like you’re overthinking

I've seen it mainly used to assist with python scripts which work well not sure on how well it does shell scripts

I think the saddest thing here is that Europe has no capital markets union where it's own private companies should be putting this money in

Europe will always be behind while it's more difficult to raise funds and do business

This AI is just the latest thing, who knows what else Europe will soon fall behind in

What do you guys do for daily news and information? I assume facebook or instagram?

[-] Eyekaytee@aussie.zone 3 points 3 weeks ago

in australia we have stcs

https://cer.gov.au/schemes/renewable-energy-target/small-scale-renewable-energy-scheme/small-scale-technology-certificates

essentially a discount on the renewables gear you buy

We have too much solar now in SA, check out the Price $/MWh:

https://explore.openelectricity.org.au/energy/sa1/?range=3d&interval=30m&view=discrete-time&group=Detailed

and overall:

we also have lower interest rate home loans for people who add climate friendly renovations:

working on it

https://www.csiro.au/-/media/Energy/Sustainable-Aviation-Fuel/Sustainable-Aviation-Fuel-Roadmap.pdf

https://www.airbus.com/en/innovation/energy-transition/sustainable-aviation-fuels

This is a really good example of why individuals can’t make a difference

Also defeatist and completely not true, billions of people are making an impact every day

Hard to tell at this stage but models may get a hell of a lot bigger if the hardware required to train them is much smaller or it may plateau for a while while everyone else works on training their stuff using significantly less power and hardware

Using mistral to calculate this but looks close enough

1921 + 1673 + 242 + 85 + 84 + 84 + 83 + 82 + 81 + 80 + 79 + 77 + 77 + 75 + 74 + 73 + 72 + 71 + 70 + 69 + 68 + 68 + 67 + 66 + 65 + 64 + 63 + 62 + 61 + 60 + 59 + 58 + 57 + 56 + 55 + 54 + 53 + 52 + 52 + 51 + 50 + 48 + 48 + 47 + 46 + 45 + 44 + 43 + 41 + 21 + 18 = 7264ms

So, the total sum of all the time values is 7264 milliseconds, or 7.264 seconds

Removing the snapd services: 7264ms - 3836ms = 3428ms

Not really noticed it tbh:

1.951s snapd.seeded.service 1.673s snapd.service

Seems to be a lot longer than the mounts themselves but even then pretty minimal impact:

byd seal looks amazing, the only thing I'm not sure on is the infotainment system, but I'm hoping by 2030 when I get my next EV the tech will have come along quite nicely
