Of course, that’s why they’ve been able to devastate Ukraine without facing much resistance. They’re certainly not being humiliated, are they?

But let’s be real, there’s a big difference between being able to build tractors with a cannon attached and actually producing proper tanks. Europe has one capability, and Russia has the other—I don’t need to spell out which is which, the convoy heading toward Kyiv at the start of the war made that pretty clear.

I wonder who, apart from those who sell maps, might be interested in this nonsense.

really? That in the richest country in the world, a large part of its population does not know the meaning of a word like oligarchy, doesn't that seem like a fucking joke to you? Maybe in Europe we have to lower expectations about the USA

Are these details really that important? Is it really that difficult to manually block 50-100 users? I don't know, everything you are telling me are, at best, marginal improvements that do not justify selling all your personal data to a private company seeking profit from those data/contributions.

I left Twitter years ago, but I think you could also block whoever you want, whether people do it more or less is independent of the site, the moderation tools are the same. 3

What's more, I am 100% sure that if in a few years Bluesky considers it economically beneficial for its shareholders that these tools "have occasional failures" this will happen without a doubt. This is something that if happens in Mastodon, changing the node you are done

Yes, worthy may be a good word to describe it.

Well, I know he has his haters, and it is true that he has had his mistakes, but for me Nolan deserves the benefit of the doubt, he has made incredible films like Dunkerke or Oppenhaimer

I can believe that she doesn't know anything about fediverse, I can believe that her team doesn't know anything about fediverse as a whole, but that neither she nor her team knows anything about Mastodon, no, I don't believe that.

Yes, after all the answers I think I am beginning to see the problem, it is not the electoral system but your vision of it. That is why time and time again the answers are about the position of president and not about the system as a whole. You don't care, you don't understand that the present is the most powerful individual person, but the presidency is not the most powerful institution, the Congress and the Senate have much more power, being powerful there is much more important than putting a person in office. Not to mention the number of laws, measures and issues that do not even reach the federal level.

Well, I don't know, like I said before I'm not American and I don't know all the ins and outs of the American electoral system, but if this is really impossible, I'll just stop thinking of the United States as a democracy in any way. Changing the democrats party from within has proven impossible since Hillary's rigged election in 2016, moving her policies to the left runs into a constant wall of "this is how we will lose the center", well, I don't know, I just think the system is so broken that either something different is done or it's not going to be fixed
