Anyone still looking for news on Twitter at this point is actively seeking to be misinformed.
Not specifically for this news, it's been obvious for a while now.

It has an owner who can do with it whatever he wants. When you participate in that, you give value to another's property. Matodon, lemmy and the rest of the fediverse are collective, they do not have a single owner, giving value to the platform only gives value to its users.
I don't know about the rest, but for me that is an insurmountable problem.
I see people praising the film, I must have fallen asleep too and dreamed things like:
The man who made the maps getting lost (well, he had a weird hairstyle and screamed like a madman when he entered, it seems that he was not a very serious man, it is clear that they chose him for the most expensive and important mission in history because... who knows)
The biologist who panics and flees two frames later takes off his glove (!!!!!) and tries to touch a clearly threatening snake with his bare hand, it has been a long time since I saw such a satisfying death.
A strange liquid about which nothing is explained but which, depending on the scriptwriter's convenience, kills instantly, turns you into a zombie, turns you into a zombie but with a delay so that you can screw your girlfriend and she has some kind of proto-alien.
Ancient cultures painted the constellation of that planet, how did they know it? Why did they paint it? It's supposed to be a military base for the architects, not their home planet, painting the address to a random military base from their culture makes zero sense.
The movie is full of religious references that lead to nothing, they cross half the galaxy and just arrive on Christmas day, what a convenient convenience that leads the viewer nowhere.
... ... ...
Of course, the scriptwriter is Damon Lindelof, so it's obvious that all the inconsistencies of the script simply lack a coherent answer.
Enjoy it if you can because this movie only manages to piss me off every time I try to watch it.
It's funny how they don't consider raising the minimum wage for those who don't receive tips, but rather lowering it for those who do. Make clear the type of people who propose this
I'm sure the US will protest this time with real energy and will then send another billion in military equipment.
I wonder what would happen if a Brazilian company failed to comply with a US court order.
As a European, my feeling from the outside is that the United States is sliding more and more towards a repressive dictatorship. All the justification of violence, the indifference towards the physical damage of the rival, the accusations crossed, not on one side, generalized. It is possible that in these elections you will avoid catastrophe, but the social climate, the opinions, are not going to disappear. Democracy in the USA is dying without anyone caring
And this is the reason why the democratic party does not respond to the interests of the working class. The words of a super rich person have more influence than thousands or millions of people saying the same thing in surveys. This time those voices are aligned, but if next time they are not, the voice of the super rich will be the one they hear instead of yours.
Wait, are you thinking about Trump in rational terms? I think you're in the wrong man if you're looking for a rational person.
Only 13%?? With everything he's going through, it seems very little to me. I think that the turning point would be top-level institutions and politicians changing Mastodon, I think that as long as that does not happen Twitter will still be relevant unfortunately
Facebook said the same thing a few years ago and here I am, waiting for them to go away
Of course, that’s why they’ve been able to devastate Ukraine without facing much resistance. They’re certainly not being humiliated, are they?
But let’s be real, there’s a big difference between being able to build tractors with a cannon attached and actually producing proper tanks. Europe has one capability, and Russia has the other—I don’t need to spell out which is which, the convoy heading toward Kyiv at the start of the war made that pretty clear.
