So say they ban them…..then what? You think that the most popular political party in the country isn’t going to just reform again while complying with whatever rule got them banned in the first place? Of course they will, and they’ll have the same support, if not more due to the perceived anti-democratic banning of the AfD.

Next stop authoritarian dictatorship I guess? Just ban all elections so they can’t take power?

What exactly is being paid for here then?

Software support and the company existing, mainly, which I dunno about you but I'm ok with.

So you’re an expert on it I assume? What qualifications did you have to get to have that title?

[-] FreedomAdvocate@lemmy.net.au -4 points 1 week ago

What am I claiming to be an expert on?

Ok so your entire argument hinges on the complete overhaul of society. Gotcha. I'm out.

the one that explicitly states being homeless is a mental illness, being unable to procure food legally is a mental illness

It doesn't state that at all. That's your poor reading and comprehension skills at play.

and that all first responders, i.e. cops that are absolutely not trained to deal with mental illness, are the sole arbiters of who gets these holds now.

The whole point of this is that now instead of police being dispatched as first responders, it will be unarmed trained mental health professionals. So it's the exact opposite of what you're saying it is.

So what housing are they being given for free? There an overabundance of free government owned houses just sitting around in NYC to put severely mentally ill homeless people in?

Putting them in an institution until they get better is providing housing and services btw.

This seems like it's a very, very good thing.....so lets see how people on here spin it as something absolutely deplorable.

I’m not sure anyone really cares about PewDiePie anymore, let alone what OS he uses.

“Book bans” at schools are not the same. Some books are not suitable for children, free speech has nothing to do with it.
