Surprised it's not just Flavio with a big smile flipping off the camera.

It's meant to be very generalized and I didn't think c/motorsports was as fitting when I started it. Sometimes I like to watch sim racing and that's pixels on a screen so the motorsport part didn't feel like it would cover everything either. At some point I'll probably start posting motorcycle events that I find interesting too. As long as what's being posted is generally related to competitive driving of some kind, it's fine.

Lemmy has a few communities for individual series already and a lot of them are fairly lean on content. I liked the idea of a more generic space to get some fans together to hopefully get things flowing.

How would this proposed automated system even work? Would it have to know the track layout? Or would it have to close once the driver crosses a certain threshold on steering input?

That's a good question. With any automated system you're eliminating an area of competitiveness. Some drivers are going to push harder and close the flap that fraction later when it's up to the drivers to do it themselves. Making it automated means everyone is going to have the DRS close at the same moment in the corner, which sounds boring and silly. Eliminating the DRS zone entirely would be a better solution if they were to do anything IMO.

There are a few different ways to address the spam but none of them are perfect and all of them require intervention from your instance admin. The best course of action is to bring the spam to their attention by reporting the DMs. You may even want to contact your admin directly to ask them to take action.

Tbh the main reason we didn't bring any home is that we already have too many (lol) similar succulents and I'm not sure we have the space for the baby burritos too.

They're parked in the back of my mind to go back and check on when they're being marked down later in the season. That gives me time to think about where they might live hahaha.

Saw these at a big box store recently and almost took some home. They're very cute plants!

If Yuki wins it should be mandatory.

That's awesome. Plants and plant accessories are wonderful gifts IMO.

I was going to ask if you had a plan for them but I thought that might be bad luck for the growing season lol! Some fresh tomato sauce sounds delicious.
