There's plenty of stuff that isn't tech there but I don't use it much for general browsing and chat. We host rooms on SXC for some of our communities and the instance itself as a means of communication off Lemmy. Most of my time is spent in those rooms interacting with people I've met on Lemmy or random people who find our rooms on SXC lol.

I don't disagree but I also think anything but a win rings hollow for Max. He's shown in the past he's willing to play the team game when it's to his advantage but when it comes to making smart decisions in the heat of battle... Well he has a reputation I'll say that.

I enjoy watching him race and hope he doesn't do anything silly, but I wouldn't put my money on this being the end of the theatrics and acting out.

There are always lessons to learn mate 😉

What did you do last year? Did it work or did you have problems? Do that/don't do that as you see fit.

Good luck living that one down.

Surprised it's not just Flavio with a big smile flipping off the camera.

Right, that's why I was thinking some kind of workout or something might give them an indication something is wrong before race time. I know other sports have concussion protocols when a head injury occurs and more thorough investigation is needed where they use a mix of historical markers and current performance as part of the evaluation. Maybe F1 needs something like that for the overall physical fitness of the drivers, especially after a big crash. I'll never forget watching Grosjean's crash and seeing Jack unable to get out of the car like that just gives me chills.

Boofing: am I a joke to you?

That's an interesting analogy lol. Pretty accurate too.

I started to dislike the Sky commentators, mostly David Croft and Karun Chandhok, and switched to the international feed. These days I think Alex Jacques is more of a sensationalist like Crofty and that feed isn't as enjoyable as it once was. The last couple seasons I've mostly watched the McLaren team feeds but using alternative streaming methods comes with some sacrifice.
