The last sovereign is one of the best RPG maker games made. It just happens to have lewd shit as an actual world building feature. Highly recommend, it's free on steam btw.

If you are on PC you can download cheat engine and a table for the game. This will allow you to turn on invincibility if you just wish to explore at your leisure.

Haven't seen it mentioned yet but "monster train" is a great second to slay the spire. Different enough gameplay to justify both.

If you're not playing Hogwarts on hard difficulty it's about to get stupidly easy. Never actually finished it due to this.
