True...otherwise it's reverse hydro, which could be done with surplus renewables at peak times, but not at more than 10km.. This is mostly aimed at coastal communities (and sustainable floating villages 😁)

...or you could say fuck it, go full Dutch and build wind turbines and reservoirs everywhere to get water to all crops and green deserts 😊.

The best part is when you pay to win and still get thrown to the back of loser queue with most of us. 0/5 wouldn't buy again.

International law is when russia does not annex Crimea because of the unfavourable internal affairs of its neighbour. You know, your power ends at "these" borders and from there to here you can't threaten the Ukrainian President.

Ok, according to what you're saying, Mexico can never join BRICS if the US says no. Is that what you think? The US can be a pretty rabid animal too, as you say.

The first thing that comes to my mind is that while in demographic decline like most parts of the developed world, they chose not to use immigration, but automation as a production base instead, which saves them a lot of trouble in social integration, but it turns out, robots don't have kids or go to University.

Because it's remarkably similar in form:

"each one takes care of himself and god takes care of all"

Vs

"Everybody pursues their own gain and the market takes care of everything"

PS: "the lord works in mysterious ways" Vs "the market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent"

Yea, it's an archetype, but it's funny how some predictions are oddly specific for such a broad recurrent archetype:

“… a despicable person will arise… a man of contempt… to whom the royal honor has not been rightfully conferred. He will slip in when least expected and will seize the kingdom through flattery and intrigue.” Daniel 11:21

“He will cause deceit to prosper, and he will consider himself superior… He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them.” Daniel 8:25, 2 Thess 2:10

“But then the court will convene, and all his power will be taken away.” Daniel 7:26

From these, the Antichrist's description is starting to sound like Hannah Arendt's banality of evil and how that is scarier than fictional supernatural evil with horns and pitchforks.
