PS: let me add that I also watch TV and the balance between quality of content and ads and their placement is much better (yes, some countries are worse than others with this). I don't know what they are doing in youtube ads, but it's anti-human (not just the ads, but the design too: super slow loading, tricks you into clicking the wrong content). Like they don't want you to "pay" by watching ads, they want to torture you until you subscribe, go away or get adblock.

That's all I had, I'm not an expert, but I hope they go after FB and microsoft too (in case that makes you feel randy like that other guy in the comments) :P

But that nuance exists in the books, there are family ties that cut across faction allegiances, double agents, traitors, misunderstood people, ambiguous characters. However, faction construction and ideology is very reminiscent of 20th century european history, so there is a grounded sense of black and white, unless you consider elitism, classism, racism and gratuitous violence to subjugate others as something that can be seen in a good light, somehow.

Before the election, nobody was sure if Maduro would leave if he lost, because Chavistas could win elections in the past. Now it's clear that they can't and won't leave...they didn't even have a fig leaf of faked stats ready to at least save face. It is officially an unashamed dictatorship now.

Every revolution is a colour revolution, right? The Chinese revolution was helped by the Kremlin, was that a colour revolution? Or just the ones you don't like?

Either way, it doesn't look like there is going to be any revolution, so keep your colourful russian talking points to yourself.
