How is a PAC that is dedicated to tearing down climate science, vaccines, responsible gun control, and healthcare, going to run on a Pro-Science platform?

When you look at the bill and the amendments they are trying to make, it truly is evil that someone wrote this on paper.

The amendments remove a lot of verbiage and instead of solidifying protections, puts them into a gray area.

Minors 16 and 17 years of age may ~~Shall not~~ be employed, permitted, or suffered to work the same number of hours as a
person who is 18 years of age or older.

18 year olds can work 72 hours in a week, how does a child go to school with that schedule?

Minors 15 years of age or younger may ~~shall not~~ be employed, permitted, or suffered to work in any gainful
occupation for more than 6 consecutive days in any one week.

No days off

Minors 16 and 17 years of age may ~~shall not~~ be employed, permitted, or suffered to work before 6:00 ~~6:30~~a.m. Or after 11:00 p.m. ~~or for more than 8 hours in any one day~~ when school is scheduled the following day.

These guys are insane if they think kids are going to be able to work overtime and go to school the next day.

People seem to be completely unaware that before Israel bombs a building, it calls cell phones in the area and warns people to leave.

If Israel shut off the electricity into Gaza, how do they charge their cell phones?

Nothing makes Hamas happier than more innocent Palestinians killed with Israeli weapons.

Then stop doing it.

Israel is running into Gaza like a Fuze player on hostage gameplay, and wondering why the hostages keep getting in the way of the bombs. Either it is stupidity or maliciousness.

When it should be treating this like a gang or mafia that has infiltrated the population of Gaza and using them as unwilling participants.

People also seem to believe that every time a building is destroyed, there are never any Hamas members or weapons or tunnels.

People don't understand shit. Me included. In fact, me the example. However, people can empathize with human suffering.

People have eyes and can think, maybe Israel should stop bombing indiscriminately. Maybe Israel, should tone it down a bit?

Then Israel says stuff like "Yo dudes, we are going to wipe out Gaza and every civilian, man, woman, baby, child, dogs, cats, sheep, salt the earth."

It doesn't inspire any confidence you either don't know what you are talking about, or don't know that Israel has a completely different philosophy from what you are arguing.

The new number will be put into action right away: the E.P.A. plans this spring to release final regulations to curb carbon dioxide from cars, trucks and power plants.

The impact on power plants should not be underestimated. This is a win, and hopefully we'll be able to ween ourselves off fossil fuels and coal more quickly if it hurts these power companies bottom line.

Hopefully this will also move into the private airplane business, and cruise line industry.

Cars will take more time, because we have to cycle the old fossil fuel engines for newer cars that just aren't cost effective right now. Not to mention, some people will want to keep their gas powered car.

However, even though it confirmed the theft of its intellectual property, NXP says that the breach did not result in material damage — saying that the data stolen is complex enough that it can't be easily used to replicate designs. As such, the company didn't see the need to inform the general public, reports NRC.

Looks like China got to peak at the Dutch's homework. However, that isn't going to do much good if China doesn't know how the Dutch got to that solution. However, I have no doubt it is just a matter of time and resources.

Also, it is unclear if the information that was taken was helpful at all. I doubt they had full schematics of next gen chips lying around. It also sounds like there is another layer of security they feel hasn't been breached. Which is good for the most part because it means the information has knowledge layers that have to be understood first for the manufacturing process.

You're getting your news from a republican senator's news page....?

Oh my god, how dumb is that.

UNRWA has a stringent staff conduct framework in place to ensure that staff members do not affiliate
themselves, and by extension, UNRWA, with any other groups. All UNRWA staff, Palestine refugees, and
contractors, vendors, and non-state donors are screened against the Consolidated United Nations Security
Council Sanctions List.

UNRWA does not, and will not, divert any humanitarian aid into the wrong hands. Donor support goes
directly to those in need. The Blackburn letter’s authors are seemingly unaware of the requirements of U.S.
law, or any of the provisions of the US-UNRWA Framework for Cooperation. UNRWA is required to take
all possible measures to ensure funding provided by the United States does not provide assistance to, or
otherwise support, terrorists or terrorist organizations.

This includes reporting requirements on any aid diversions

Last night, one of our fallen UNRWA colleagues included Mai, a person who overcame physical disabilities to
become a front-end developer at the UNRWA Information Technology Service Center. Since the horrific
events of 7-October, UNRWA has already lost Mai and 71 other members of its staff to the conflict. Despite
this, thousands of UNRWA staff, many of whom are now displaced themselves, are still on the job assisting
the 690,000 Gazans sheltering at our 149 facilities, as well as working at our healthcare centres.

But yea, tell me again why this makes it okay to kill children again?

hypocrisy over US response to 9/11

Then let them.

We learned our lesson from Iraq and Afghanistan.

It is a shame that most other people didn't learn the lesson 10 trillion dollars later and after all our hard work evaporated in less then 3 days.

I'll keep an ear to the ground.

But I don't like that $90 preorder logic at all, it's almost weird it exists.

I try to imagine going to a gamestop and a gaming associate was like, buy that game 3 days later and I'll give you $20.

Skip the in game pet and mount, that most people forget exists after the expansion, and I'll make that $40

But then.... why does this system exist?!

Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly has, meanwhile, sought to reassure investors about the state's finances. "I affirm that the Egyptian state has not failed and will not fail to pay any of its international obligations," he said in April.

Amid a foreign currency crunch, Egypt has drawn down net foreign assets in the banking system by more than $40 billion in two years, partly used to prop up the pound.

It seems like this deal would be beneficial in some ways, because it sounds like the world bank is kind of writing off parts of this debt already.

This way it allows for Egypt to build it's economy towards something different, at the expense of basically having to feed, dress, house, and police, 2 million people who are going to be hellbent on getting back at the people who harmed them.

On that topic, how does Israel have the power to write off debt?

House Republicans unveiled a $14.3 billion aid package for Israel on Monday

Oh..... right.... we're helping pay for it.... o_o

Bryce Currie, Ford's vice president of manufacturing in the Americas, said the company anticipates nine of those 13 plants will have to lay off as many as 4,600 workers in total over the coming weeks, with the first layoffs happening in a matter of days.

"I want to stress, this will be a prolonged impact. Even if the strike is short-lived, it will have a prolonged impact, because bringing a plant back up is much more intensive than putting it down," Currie explained in an Oct. 12 media call.

Kentucky Truck makes F-series Super Duty pickups as well as Ford Expedition SUVs and Lincoln Navigator SUVs. It generates $25 billion in annual revenue, or 16% of Ford's annual global revenue, and produces a vehicle every 37 seconds.

Sounds like the VP understands that this is going to cost them a large amount. Also sounds like he isn't 100% on board with it, but time and actions will tell.

I wouldn't be either, There is no way they are going to be able to replace 5,000 auto workers easily. Anyone who has ever taking their car to a mechanic will know what I mean.

She doesn't seem too bad, she has a history of helping union workers in nursing and janitorial duties. So she had a good history for organized labor

However....

Butler joined SCRB Strategies as a partner in 2018. At SCRB, she played a central role in Kamala Harris's 2020 presidential campaign. Butler also advised Uber in its dealings with organized labor while at SCRB.

Butler left SCRB in 2020 to join Airbnb as director of public policy and campaigns in North America

SCRB Strategies seems to be a "for profit" political consultation group. Airbnb needs no introductions.

It's hard to say whether she took the money or not. While some organizations declare her net worth around $300,000, others report it around $16 million.

Laphonza Butler owns more than 7 real estate properties, valued at over $3 million in total. These properties bring in nearly $500,000 annually in rental income. She also invests in stocks and government bonds worth $2.5 million. Her investments include big names like Tesla, Microsoft, ExxonMobil, Google, Walmart, Universal Studios, and Bank of America.

TLDR: So at least from what I can see in her past.

She is going to be big oil on issues, she is going to also have a lot of personal incentive to keep rental prices high, and she has a bit of a history defending labor. What that means going forward is going to be hazy.

It's more surprising that a rapist, election denier (With no evidence), Money launderer, and past seditionist, is somehow the front runner for the party of law and order.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, the more evidence that comes out, the more republicans want to vote for him.
