Norman Champsky
While Norm did spark the initial debates that formed linguistics as a study, pretty much all of his ideas and theories in the field have been thoroughly discredited. He basically was so incorrect that people formed an entire academic discipline to prove him wrong.
Alex the Parrot learned how to use syntax and grammar, as well as invented his own portmanteaus of existing words to describe complex and mixed ideas.

Good, but I can't imagine this ends well for them. Just like kneecap and bob vylan they will be dropped by their record label, blackballed by venues, have their visa revoked in the west, sanctioned and punished legally until they apologize and grovel. I suggest they leave the UK immediately if they wish to retain their integrity and principles and freedom.

Notably Palestine/Israel are not mentioned once. The only things mentioned are trans rights, "being a kind person" and disliking Trump. Given that the BBC is a major zionist mouthpiece, there's a certain amount of obligation to address that first and foremost as the most pressing issue. Sadly seems like he's just a basic lib. Still not a good portent of things to come, but it's sad that even the most "principled" among the BBC are still like... this.
There is probably an unspoken agreement behind the scenes with the big 5 tech companies and the government that they get to retain their monopolies if they strictly censor whatever the US government requests. They will go along with it because no upstart competition can ever happen, so their positions will be secure. This is corporatism and similar to what the fascists did going into WW2, pure private monopoly domination enforced in a top-down manner. The "free market" as it were, is no longer as much of a concern, just pure private profits and corruption.
It will need to be global this time and not piecemeal, because otherwise it won't dent the overall trend of the world into resource-scarcity driven barbarity and war. You are right, I'm just hoping it's not too late
Yes, it just flowed once. The CIA only did one thing and then left.
There's much more evidence. Hundreds of organizations, with millions of dollars of receipts. Among these are The Committee to Protect Journalists, The Federation of Nepali Journalists, Freedom Forum Nepal, The Gurkha Welfare Trust, Alliance of Youth Movements, Hami Nepal, Open Technology Fund, DRAPAC VPN Project, Legal Aid & Consultancy Center, Initiative for Democratic Renewal, etc. etc. with 1000 more trusts, NGOs, charities, initiatives, ministries, yada yada.
NED just admits to a bit of it outright on page 26 of this document about their 2024 budget. Notice they are even entangling themselves within the labor movement like they did in Poland and Chile to destroy those socialist governments. This is what they outright admit to, this is the tip of the iceberg of all the covert activities they actually do. There's shady CIA shit going on at massive scales, and there's tech giant and social media manipulation, billions of dollars of private NGO money, and there's a comprador-liberal rot in society that is the base that sustains all of this social infrastructure. People you know are beneficiaries of this widespread patronage network and that influences you in ways you are not fully aware.

Brian Berletic details it in his videos on the subject. Grayzone's reporting is of note because it is bringing to light and emphasizing even more additional supporting evidence. Not because it's novel in its overall point.

He cites all of his sources in the description of the video. You'll have to watch the video to hear his arguments, but they are not only compelling they are completely open and shut with zero room for doubt. This was not "co-opted". It was planned and orchestrated for decades in the open by the Liberal-Comprador portion of Nepalese society alongside western NGOs, charities, churches and "rights groups".
You can't just go around denying this and obfuscating it without expecting pushback. We weren't born yesterday.
The report – which includes an in-depth analysis of the internal operational structures of the GNB, including its chain of command – concluded that GNB officials perpetrated arbitrary deprivation of life, arbitrary detentions, sexual and gender-based violence, as well as torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment during law enforcement operations in the context of protests and in actions of targeted political persecution since 2014. The persistence of these abuses reflects structural failures within Venezuela’s accountability and political system which have further entrenched impunity.
So they're cops in a capitalist society? No shit? You can level this exact accusation against every single major US city's police departments. Bombs away against American cities.
How much of this is exaggerated whining from the right opposition freaks like Miami gusanos?
The timing of this of course is manufacturing consent for war.
One thing I think we miss as historical materialists is a prediction that the American military empire is "collapsing" imminently and will get owned in its next war. It may just pick weak and small targets and be able to sustain itself for a few decades more. More likely scenario is the "international order" of Pax Americana disintegrating and global unrest and border conflicts escalating sharply over resources and sharply oppressing and exploiting subject populations nearby that are otherized. A general descent into barbarism as the unjust and unsustainable "peace" unravels as America becomes too internally contradictory to police the whole globe and instead just focuses on regional domination. The "garden" the Americans created goes untended and overgrows, the seeds they set by spreading fascism and destroying socialism internationally bear fruit as their reactionary appendages each break off and begin in earnest their own projects. Nations like Turkey will become regional superpowers, imagine the shit they are going to get up to while collaborating with the "Greater Israel" cancer that will surely metastasize outwards further one way or the other like the Nazis, either out of desperation or expansive greed. They will probably lose American support eventually, but it might also be the case that America goes all-in on Israel as a hail mary for its own survival. Imperial Japan also did a similar gambit of an extreme all-or-nothing play that even they knew would likely fail by attacking the Americans and expanding aggressively in the Pacific.
Not everyone in the world will go this way of course, some are socialist or democratic in real ways that will delay their descent into turmoil and border skirmishes, but many others will be pulled in against their will like Venezuela. A world of war, but maybe not a world war with unified sides and alliances. Instead like 10 ongoing major conflicts at a time, which all of course only cause even more acute crises of mass migration and ecological and climate destruction that is causing the resource shortages that fuel the wars. I don't know how we can escape this downward cycle.
