Yeah it's a mental illness. ADHD sucks and makes so many things hard.

Doesn't mean we aren't smart, or capable, but it is definitely limiting in a lot of ways.

I feel like this video (link below) does a good job of explaining why a lot of current third places aren't quite meeting the need, or just don't really fit the definition of third places.

I can think of a few places that meet most of the criteria near me, but there's very few. The closest ones are probably the gaming shops, where you can show up and just hang out playing games with friends for free - but those are kind of geared towards specific activities, so you can't always show up and just hang out with others whenever, as there are usually only regulars on certain days of the week, and often they are involved only in playing a game, not casual conversation.

I have issues with FireFox running YouTube on windows 10 - it gets super laggy - the issue is nonexistent if I used the Piped frontend. I think it depends a lot on what website you are using - some don't play well with FireFox.

That being said, I did not have issues with FireFox on Mac when I used that, or on Linux, though I don't use my Linux laptop a lot for web heavy stuff

I need to get more. It is legit. I don't know how the quality of the supermarket stuff but I had some from a local farmers market and it was awesome. The guy grows all the mushrooms himself and sells them fresh and dried and the extracts. He also sells the stuff to grow your own. But the fresh stuff he had was really helpful to me before I knew I had ADHD. I just thought I had brainfog but that stuff really helped with focus for me.

I'm on meds now that help too but I'd like to get some more lions main as well

It was kind of talked about on Discovery with Georgiou after they went to the future. The universes were drifting apart, and because the mirror universe was no longer aligned with the primer universe in whatever year Discovery ended up in, Georgiou was not able to maintain cohesion and had to go back in time. link

I may be misremembering headcannon as an actual line from the episode but I seem to remember hearing that the mirror universe was the one that was the closest to them on the space time continuum. The fact that they were both aligned is why people could travel between them and not others.

Octoprint is a software to manage a printer running marlin firmware.

Klipper is a different printer firmware, and is not something you can use to manage a printer running marlin.

I do want to look at flashing klipper to my sv06 someday but right now I'm just trying to print stuff without manually moving an SD card every time.

I have done some gridfinity stuff for my desk and I will say I really like it - especially the idea of the magnets in the bins / baseplates to make really cool modular organization bins.

The baseplates let you change things around and stick things together like legos vs having to make sure random STL files are all the right size to look good together, or designing everything yourself custom for your space.

That being said, for me, the main downside is also the baseplates. I know that's what makes gridfinity gridfinity, but it just feels like a lot extra to print. Like I have to create a gridfinity space, then I can start actually organizing things. I need to add some more bins... Oh wait, first I have to print a few more baseplates. I probably need to switch to some more minimal baseplates that will print faster and use less material when I am ready to expand my setup - I printed the gridfinity refined baseplates. The features are cool (press-fit magnet slots, optional thumbscrews), but I don't think it's worth it for me given the extra time and material required.
