That’s totally fair and everyone has different preferences. But I really don’t think it needs to be a trade off at all. My ‘13 Focus has buttons for everything important in addition to the touch screen controls and they made it look nice too.

If I’m gonna spend XC60 money, I want the styling to be something I enjoy as much as I enjoy the rest of the car. This console might actually be a deal breaker for me if I were shopping.

Those points are all paid for by the fees they charge the people you pay. You aren’t costing them money, you’re just not making them as much as people who can’t/don’t pay off their credit cards.

I’ll check them out! But I have had hopes of getting a full set of Made-In pans in both stainless and carbon. But that’s a pretty far off goal lol.

I have an expensive super automatic that I just pour beans in. No filters or disposable parts, just gotta pull the brew group out to rinse every week and clean it out occasionally.

I paid $700 for the machine but have probably saved more than that between the k cups I was using before and going out for coffee way less (it’s not as good but it hits that espresso craving well enough for me), not to mention way more environmentally friendly while still retaining push button coffee. I now spend about $10/month on coffee.

Ah, must have evolved then. I’m reasonably sure NYC is still holding out on this at least. But my intel may well be dated.

I bought in April of last year. 4.99%, right at the inflection point when interest was rising and prices went flat before falling the bit they did. Puts me technically underwater cause I probably can’t sell for more than what I owe, but the buyer would prob spend more than I did.

I haven’t bought a CD in well over a decade but I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to think of CDs as retro lol
