Can't find the full quote, but there is a scene in the movie Calvary where a guy at a pub tells the main character (a priest) a story about a boy rendered blind, deaf, mute, and paralyzed, going into excruciating detail about the hell he must be in. Truly a messed up thing to tell another human. Highly recommend watching the movie.

I'll definitely keep this in mind if I end up going back to the industry. Thanks!

My single ultrawide setup has treated me much better than the 2-3 monitor setup I used to have.

I've had similar issues, but with a 7800XT and only with variable refresh rate enabled. Don't know if that is caused by the same thing though

I'm someone that uses sway because I really like to keep my workflow as keyboard driven as possible. However, I do not necessarily need the minimalism of sway and sometimes miss the more polished experience of a full DE. Are there ways to configure Plasma to give me a sway-like keyboard-driven flow while still getting some of the other benefits of Plasma?

TBH the longer you wait, the more you aren't going to want to do it. Depends on who you are as a person, but if you working toward getting married and havinf kids, then doing a PhD is going to feel like a truckload of extra responsibility that really isn't worth it. The only reason I am doing my now is that it gave me an excuse to leave my previous residence, but I was in a really stable place making plenty of money. That is a hard thing to give up.

Also usually you get a PhD because you want a specific job. If you want to do it to learn, it is a mistake most of the time. You want to be setting up your post-degree career sooner than later, because your pre-degree career is likely not going to count for much after the first few years.

the 100% pay cut

The only people who choose to get a PhD without receiving a stipend are either stupid or wealthy. Don't get me wrong, in the US you make very little as a PhD student, but not a 100% pay cut. Most students are not working for free.

Also if you're looking to make a job out of it, Python will lead you to job opportunities that are imo much more satisfying than JS.

Examples?

Abraham, the OG benificiary of the covenant with God, lies about his wife twice. Moses kills an Egyptian. These are all things that the Commandments explicitly mark as immoral behaviors. Obviously the success the figures experienced also had nothing to do with their own ability, e.g. Moses did not part the Red Seas by himself.

Except in Mark and the Q source.

The first verse of Mark calls him the Son of God. The Q source is also a purely hypothetical book, so while it technically doesn't say Jesus is the Son of God, it also doesn't say anything at all until it is actually found.

Yeah, unfortunately vim is really for text editing, so if you're not doing that (writing a Google Doc is not text editing), you aren't going to see vim bindings/extensions supported/available in those cases.

The best you can hope for is to do something like here (not sure if it still works), but then you defeat the point of using Google Docs.
