That side eye 👀

A few things I remember.

Nobody sanitised their inputs.

You could get through logins by making a database query check whether 1 = 1 instead of a password. You could put JavaScript into guest book fields to redirect people to whatever crazy site you wanted.

My university lecturer told me about a well known supermarket that built a shop front. They made it in such a way that you could change the numbers before they were submitted and it wasn't validated on the back end. So free food.

They exist in trials. The human danger is too great though I think. If the laser thinks your eye is a fly for a split second, game over for vision.

Thanks Dom!

You don't.

Unless it is publicised or an obvious bug exists in your code and you see the consequences of it in their system.

Please don't cut the authors mark. It is by Zach from Extra Fabulous Comics, in case anyone wanted to know.

It isn't just about the military. I've not read the article, but Germany suffers from not having enough people working in social services. This problem got worse after getting rid of conscription. You could either choose military service or social work.

By reintroducing it, they hope to fill in some gaps.

There is baked beans, but it needs toast. Please add toast.

Plus who are you helping? AITA is about engagement with the person involved.

Helping someone not be an asshole, or reassuring them that they aren't.

I don't see the benefit of reassuring a bot 🙃
