I guess you could add extra radioatice stuff to make sure it to gets mixed with everything else at the target site, but if you just use normal shells/bombs you can at least claim it was a mistake, so I really don't see how this makes sense as is.
If they want to bomb a nuclear power plant normal bombs, perhaps bunker busters, sufice. There is no need to do any more than that.
The only reason I can see for them to be searching for "radioactive materials" to target the plant it would be if they wanted spent uranium rounds, but that wouldn't be used because it is radioactive but because it is "harder".
So, either this is some dumb propaganda piece, some even dumber plan, or some dumb reporting or translation on what should be really serious.
If they finally can get this done hopefully this also blocks the US from remaining in Syria as well, as I doubt Turkey will allow the US to remain in Syria using Turkish territory to maintain their bases.

And thinking about this whole situation I do wonder if key nuclear weapons infrustructure (like radars) will be hit soon, considering Ukraine has hit some of Russia's early warning radars and Russia may have started supplying Yemen with weapons. Although I'm not sure the colonists would take that opportunity to dial things back. I guess we will see what happens.

In case they secesseed they may not be able to take the nukes or they might have to give them later, but even if they keep them it might not be easy to take control of them unless they already have some infrastucture to do it. Although, if things get violent in a possible secessionist scenario, there would also be a possibility that such infrustructure or the nukes themselves get bombed before they can be used.
Either way, hope they actually try to get out.

Although Russia says there are over 3,100 mercenaries in Ukraine, these newly arriving troops are not mercenaries. They are in uniform, home country proclaimed via insignia. They mostly are concentrated in the western part of the country, although in some cases they are close to the actual fighting in the east.
According to this there are already NATO troops in Ukraine. Any more sources on this? I don't remember hearing about it to such a degree before.
And that's only the cotst of defence. I don't think we know yet how much actual damage there was and if Iran managed to destroy just one air defence system this price tag could possibly double.
And if they fight these new soldiers, which will probably happen even if by mistake, will Russia also consider it an act of war from the new participant countries and will they attack their territory for it?

I know that if this happened in my country the president would either have to basically sell the country to get even mediocre laws passed, or more likely with the even farther right congress of now, would get impeached in no time, though I don't know how much of this applies to Sri Lanka.
