Don't you mean ex-girlfriend?
"Whoever knows what is right but doesn’t do it is sinning. So then, if we do not do the good we know we should do, we are guilty of sin".
Just to quote the Bible that the Republicans love so much
Yea, let's even bash them when they work for something good.. good idea!
Most of all the Russians simply can't stomach a reality where they're not a feared global superpower, to such a degree that they'd rather shoot themselves in the foot and be a shithole rather than just a regular better functioning nation
There is no better regime than the West in this regard. Force things on people? You're gonna risk a revolt or dissent. 'Subtly' make people dependent on your product so they'll voluntarily use it and share everything with you while you 'subtly' control the algorithm in your favour? Now that's perfect. Social media is the ultimate tool of power and governance.
Although North Korea is a very "successful" oppressive regime, largely able to have full control over information both in and out of the country and to greatly limit desertion. I can't think of a "better" regime in this regard.

I wonder how Kanye feels about his homies trying to take away his favourite internet activity.
This is truly the issue. Uneducated extremists are and will by far outbreed ideologically sane people who tend to doubt society, our existence, and bringing children into the world. Personally I don't believe in the future so I don't see a point in ruining my life with a child's weeping and cleaning poop just for it to grow up and have to be part of this circus of the maniacs.
I support all the Trump-bashing in the world, but let's not allow crappy big businesses to just blame everything on him. McDonald's has a responsibility and they haven't lived up to it. Blaming Trump for consumers not choosing your overpriced, shitty product is not reasonable.
I mean, to be fair, when I was younger my viewpoints changed as often as I changed my underwear
95% of the world's population uses Celsius, by the way.
