Not having children doesn't solve anything. That's just an abandonment of the future. It directly harms people who need help - the elderly, those with disabilities and medical conditions, etc.
Sure, and good information for the discussion. This was my point: everyone was acting like vegans are actively delusional in feeding cats vegan food. While there are very much valid criticisms you can have, most people are not engaging with the facts, or with even a modicum of respect. Thank you for not being a part of that.
I mean, you are paying someone else to do those things for you. Or if you want to quibble over verbs, paying someone else to cause harm to animals for you.
If it’s not currently possible for you to eat a less harmful diet, that's one thing. There's a ton of ways that our lifestyles can cause harm, and it's perfectly fine if you're just not in a good place to change one particular aspect of it. Refusing to acknowledge the harm that you are causing is frankly much more concerning. From understanding comes action, after all.
Ohhh, no, they would not. It's usually just a patty. If you're using a ground beef replacer, stick with the Impossible.
You're attempting sarcasm, but it kinda falls flat when the liberals did indeed line up to give more funding to Israel right alongside the conservatives.
Well, this is the first time somebody has managed to convince me that AI could actually improve things, so congrats on that. It has to do with your mentioning of AIs being made as a result of public debate; I'm seeing major parallels to scientific research. Research must be done and documented with rigor, and fully exposed to peer review and criticism. If - and I think only if - AI models end up being handled the same way, I think we have a chance. Not sure if it's already too late for that, but it's a chance.

I kinda disagree with all of this. Big abilities that come with in-universe complications are the bread and butter of RPGs. E.G. Connection: Mafia: You know a guy in the mafia you can ask for help, but he might want a favor later...
Or think of things like Wish, etc.
It kinda sounds like you want a wargame with a bit of story connecting the battles. Which is fine, but then just play a wargame I guess?
I've said it before and I'll say it again: cars should be mechanically speed-limited, the way they wanted to when cars were first introduced.
I'm in MN...I'm imagining what a herd of bison would do to a zombie horde lmao.
Bro. Nobody hates you. Nobody has made even the slightest comment about you. Nobody has made even the slightest threat against you or your lifestyle. You openly asked a bunch of people what they thought about your lifestyle and then got defensive when they criticized it. Vegans not liking that you eat meat is worlds apart from facism, and you know that.
