Here's some stats

88% of ad interactions are by bots, after anti bot measures are taken into account

Almost all advertising (>98%) online outside of product placement with influencers has 0 effect on sales.

Those advertising efforts that do have effects are either a)remarketing or b)entirely within major established brands.

This is true over almost all industries and in both b2c and b2b verticals, physical, ecom, and SaSS.

A really obscure 90s title called Millennia: Altered Destinies. Unusable UI, but fuck the concept of guiding 4 alien civs through time travel to become peacefully co existing powers ready to defeat an alien invasion was amazing.

Tribes Vengence singleplayer was great and you can fucking fight me Tribes 2 fans I've been around since Earthsiege 2.

I actually liked doom 3

Mostly we were LAN cafeing in 2000, broadband wasnt good enough or common enough yet.

$10 overnight LANs were the best.

A lot of traditionally "good" students will complain about open book exams though, since the questions generally tend to require you to go beyond the rote text book ones.

For instance, in 1st year phys the final tutorial question was open book, gave you an extra possible 5% above 100% and was simply "calculate the total power output per year of Wolf 359." A full third of the class complained it was an unfair question.

All forms of football are dumb, but American Football is the dumbest (Yes, dumber than Aussie Rules), College football is the dumbest form of that, and the Navy is the dumbest team.

That said if Prigo had merc'd Putin (literally!) we'd also be laughing (albiet a slightly more concerned laugh since that would mean Civil War, and I don't think the NAFO types understand that that would not stay neatly confined to Russia.)
