Agree. It is unfortunate however, that when being impossibly rich and protected for the rest of your life, you still work on how to squeeze the most out of humanity instead of focusing on something greater.
I switched to Fastmail a few months ago and love it.
My tip is: Start simple.
- If you have any other Domains forwarded to Gmail forward them to Fastmail instead.
- Forward Gmail to Fastmail (i.e. add as an account including importing old mails). This won't get you off Google yet, but at least a backup and you can practically stop using Gmail.
- For any new registration, use Fastmail (or any of its random emails etc.)
- Slowly transition your old accounts.

Very cool. Great reviews as well from what I've seen. Definitely on my top contender list. Currently, after flashing a custom ROM, I'm happy with my OnePlus 6T - and upgrading without a clear need certainly goes against Fairphone's values.
I guess we are not going to know for sure for a long time.

That's quite interesting. I was very impressed with Voyager being a PWA and a bit sad that a native version was needed.
Isn't the overhead of maintaining three completely different code bases very demanding?

I like it a lot. Obviously, content is lacking. But that is up to us to fix. The general fediverse capabilities are fantastic, but still a tad too confusing for newbies (from which communities can I see content, which communities can I see etc.) and take a while to figure out. Apps are already great. General UI is great as well.
