Kind of an odd one there in that as far as I understand, they were reusing one of their IP's, Red Dead Revolver. Ironically, I played Red Dead Revolver as a kid, never played RDR2. That said, it's not like it's a cohesive universe between the two by any means, so your point still stands.

Thank you so much for sharing, just moved to the area and wanted to find some local stations. Consider this my new favorite

Thank you! I love the flexibility of Plasma and being able to make a uniquely me environment

Thanks a ton! I loved changing everything and finding what things I could or could not do without and optimize everything to my use-case. Getting off of my work Windows PC and logging into my home Linux PC feels like such a breath of fresh air

That's fair, I can't say I've daily-driven it yet since I've still got my Kagi sub, but I'm thinking of defaulting it on my work computer to put it through its paces. It's done fairly well with some of my tests, but definitely seems to still be getting refined, I've noticed recent information can be difficult to find on it

If you've used Kagi, it has a feature much like "lens" to raise the weight of fediverse results too

dark and caustic mood reddit has by default

This is such good wording, each Social Media seems to have its own default mentality behind the reading and writing of its posts, and rarely is it positive.

(“you’re right”) and move forward

This is excellent advice that I'm trying to apply, I'm happy to accept when I'm wrong, but it's exhausting to be berated for participation then it's on me to apologize for having participated and not committed hours to ensuring I've done all of my homework on any given topic, or forbid I misspell a word, the cardinal sin!!

Thank you for your empathy, participation, and words of insight!

Right there with you, I'm on the admin side of things, so the time it takes the app to start is a bigger deal to me than the full featured-ness of VS Codium, but provides contextual highlighting and some quality-of-life coding features that you won't find it text editors.

God, I hear that...plus I usually need to meet with my coworkers in India, so I'm often needing to start meetings at 6 AM. I am nooooot functional that early

Now I'm wishing I'd gotten the chance to play Gigantic! If you discover a playable client and server, lemme know, because I'm loving how that looks

True, though this is a little out of date, DDG has built much of their own cache now. Bing is still their failover, but they've gotten a lot more independent. That said, I don't generally care for it's derivative-of-bing results, and has had some privacy oopsies lately that steer me away.

LineageOS with f-droid has been great, though an unexpected downside is that the One+ I have has 2 battery cells for sake of fast charging. Ironically, it charges faster since moving to LineageOS, but it's not optimized for this phone, so the battery life of my phone is deteriorating quickly
