The simplest way to protect civilians is to order an immediate ceasefire. Antideutsche verfechten bedingungslose Solidarität mit Israels Politik. Das ist angesichts von Israels Politik gegenüber den Palästinensern und der Anklage wegen Völkermord vor dem Internationalen Gerichtshof höchst problematisch. Das ganz abgesehen davon, dass die momentane Regierung in Israel einfach nur rechtsextrem ist.

Mit ihrer positiven Haltung gegenüber den USA als Schutzmacht Israels, ohne kritischen Diskurs über die humanitären Implikationen dieser Haltung, unterstützen sie amerikanischen Imperialismus. Gleichzeitig werfen sie anderen Linken Antisemitismus vor, ohne zwischen legitimer Kritik an der israelischen Regierung oder der zionistischen Ideologie und echtem Antisemitismus zu unterscheiden. Das ist gefährlich, weil es echten Dialog und Kritik unterdrückt.

Außerdem neigen Antideutsche dazu, das Judentum mit Israel gleichzusetzen, was eine problematische Vereinfachung ist. Nicht alle Juden unterstützen die israelische Regierung oder deren Politik. Nicht alle Israelis sind Juden. Diese Gleichsetzung ignoriert die Vielfalt jüdischer und israelischer Stimmen und Perspektiven.
