This law is not a tool for transparency, but a weapon for state politicians against local politicians disagreeing with them.

What we have here is a law in a majorily red state that does not apply for state officials (republicans) but does apply for local politicians (democrats in several big cities) that can punish minor infractions (please try to make a list of everything you own with the correct values that can withstand an audit by the state...) with jail time. More than 15 years ago there were ~50.000 people (compared to a population of 81 million) that were due to leaving the country again but hadn't done so already.

15 years later -and with between 100.000 and up to 1 million refugees coming in each year- that number has risen to ... *insert drum-rolls here... ~54.000 people (now compared to a population of 84,5 million).

It's basically a constant. Because there isn't some magical huge amount of people illegally in Germany. They actually get deported or are leaving otherwise. That (rediculous low) number (in a country of that size) is basically made up by people delayed while leaving (often by weeks or some months... which is basically within the delays the stupid bureaucracy is already introducing).

The actual fact (very clearly told in the studies that are then brought up to justify the rediculous claim) is: Coal power plants 60 years ago (that's how old the study is) spread more radioactivity via fly ash, then escapes through the massive concrete walls of a running reactor. That's it. No mention of actual waste or anything else.

So coal power is more radioactive than nuclear power only if nuclear power would not create any waste at all and also not contaminate anything that has to be build back and cared for. So basically in a computer game where we you just click on it to remove it from your map, not in any reality.

PS: Also that radioactivity by fly-ash is based on the natural radioactity contained in earth and stone. Can you imagine the difference in radiation spread by you compared to the world around you? Yeah, there is none... with very small variations by which layer of earth you look at.

So basically you can also pretend that picking up a rock and throwing it at your head is me radiating my surroundings...

Actually that isn't even true. Because decades of nuclear testing has actual incresed the radiation in our natural surroundings, so layers of earth buried for quite some time actually contain lower radiation. If they had done the same study just two decades later then that fly-ash would not even have registered against the normal radiation level around us.

So increase it further and once exceeding demand is the default in summer days allow companies to build storage right next to wind generation. The fact that they are only getting cheap renewable power for it's actual price instead of prices of that broken energy market makes commercial investment into storage worthwhile. So free storage infrastructure for the public, paid by private money making a profit.

Nope, this is simply framing because the coal lobby pays millions to sell you the lie of how there is no way around coal and you should give up on reducing it.

In reality the majority of G20 countries are decreasing coal emissions steadily and with a goal to completely phase it out in years. But there are countries included in those 20 that increase coal instead (for example China is up 30% since 2015, India up 29%). And countries like South Korea and Australia while not increasing coal (but also being slower in reductions...) are just rediculous far ahead in emissions per capita (> 3t) thus having a much higher impact on the overall statistics.

Then they will just fight against each other for the remaining food... probably while their corporate overlords find ways to market the fights.

Maths isn't science but just a tool used in proper science...
