That shouldn't be a setback of ten years, it should be an automatic attempted manslaughter charge and exclusion from any job that gives immediate power over strangers.

I mainly kill animals to enjoy the silence that comes after.

Damn mosquitoes sound annoying AF!

So, average German here. Person I have never heard of gets an award I've never heard of. Doesn't seem very peaceful to me tho.

I'd say I'm interested in hearing the reasoning, but that would be a lie. It's been a while since I cared about any such awards.

Any computer they use just turns into a quantum computer by sheer force of will

Hard shell, it soaks up the Coke much better, when you dip it in.

Except, that your picture shows the continents in the usual Mercator projection distorted way. This type of projection makes countries nearer to the poles look way larger than they actually are.

I don't think they'll find any ethics there

A very good analog to all your car infrastructure then.

Honestly, it's not just capitalism. Education is anywhere from free to really cheap in Germany, and we still don't get many people from poorer families into uni.

I see the main problem here as a sort of class divide between people with university degrees and people without. For example: if you work in a public library and don't have a uni degree you will never get more money than salary level 9 (4k/mo) just having a degree and not doing any more/different work more or less instantly puts you on 12 or higher (6k+)

This I think understandably makes people without uni degrees kind of resentful of those who do have them. And if you grow up resenting a certain group of people you are much less likely to join them.

So, no. "Just" getting rid of the cost won't magically get these people into higher education.

Specifically I want to make a collage of many pictures. For that purpose the software should be able to handle many large pictures, and align them relative to each other (snap center to center, etc)

I'd like to avoid having to do it in libre office if at all possible.

Is there anything like that?

This probably has nothing to do with maintenance. The plane was only two months old. Enough for some inspections, but nobody would suspect or look for cracks in the fuselage at that point. So it's probably a manufacturing issue.

This picture was taken back in September from the top of the Großer Aber mountain in the Bavarian Forrest. Just minutes before there was fog everywhere and soon after it returned.

Let's be real here, we usually just stick all of them in a blender and pour ourselves one glass of perfectly mixed accent juice
