Opportunity makes the thief. These people are intentionally trying to get people to commit a crime that might have never otherwise have happened, just so they can beat someone up and/or create content for their channels. That is morally wrong.

Spent most of today on trains coming back to Germany from my 2 weeks Interrail trip to the UK. Had a great time there. Spent yesterday exploring Bath and climbing up Solsbury Hill in the evening.

Some of the polls on wahlrecht.de include the smaller parties. The latest one that does is from march though, unfortunately.

These NPCs would have to be written by people too. Otherwise you'd just get ChatGPT. Depending on complexity, it might even require more writing work.

Where I live, it used to be Twingos instead of Beetles for some reason.

The way it works right now is usually over the cloud. I've already tried out a bit of "Convai" as a developer, which is a platform where you can create LLM NPCs and put them in Unreal Engine. It's pretty neat, not perfect, but you can definitely give characters thousands of lines of backstory if you want and they will act in character. They will also remember any conversations a player had with them previously and can refer to them in later convos. Can still be fairly obvious that you're talking to an LLM though, if you know what to ask and what to look for. Due to its cloud-based nature, there is also some delay between the player input and the response. But it has a lot of potential for dialog systems where you can do way more than just choose between 4 predefined sentences. Especially once running these things locally won't be a performance-issue.

Mate, this community is more left-wing than probably 90% of online communities. If that's already "fascist" to you, I can't even imagine where you'd put a place like reddit. If you apply that word to everyone you disagree with, it loses all meaning.

I got to fly a lot and always looked forward to it as a situation where no one can get mad at me for spending the whole time watching movies, playing games or reading books. Some of that childhood joy stuck with me, and I still look forward to a chance to sit back and read or zone out to music without any nagging work obligations

Pretty much the same reasons I like traveling on trains. The reasons why I don't like plane traveling nearly as much (kind of hate it TBH) is the whole airport bureaucracy and security theater you need to go through just to get on the plane. And the incredibly cramped seats (though maybe not a factor for you, if you were privileged enough not to fly Economy).

Probably didn't harm me ultimately, as he did prescribe regular medicine when it was really needed (in addition to some sugar pills usually). Still, it might not have harmed me, but it sure didn't help me, only filling the pockets of some quack companies.
