I think it's still worth doing so your phone isn't rapidly trying to connect and disconnect from nearby cell towers as you ascend and descend. Maybe there's already protections in place for this case but it makes sense that it could add a lot of unnecessary strain on certain cell towers.

She turns 35 just before the next president takes office, meaning this is the first election she could legally become president. Coincidence???

Absolutely a coincidence. This is all a marketing stunt, but the conspiracies have been fun to read.

I'm not that worried about my laptop in regards to physical access because I don't usually leave it in public unattended for long.

My car? Sometimes that thing sits in a parking spot or paid garage for weeks when traveling. I also leave it unattended in public most times I go brick and mortar shopping.

"...and nobody is paying attention..."

This is something we read and hear about every single day. Not sure how much more attention we could give it.

Due to the way Steam refunds work I feel this wasn't their end goal unless they really didn't think it through at all.

The theory i subscribe to is that they intended to release a "decent" game but had no experience or intent to make it themselves. The marketing hype machine was to build community hype, which would drive investor funding so they could pay for new talent or to just outsource most of the work. I'm guessing that either didn't materialize or they mismanaged that plan.

Expecting Valve to support an operating system that the creator of the OS doesn't even support isn't tenable. How much longer should Valve be forced to support Windows XP by that logic?
