cafe bustelo

Edit: its good coffee. Not sure about its political leanings though.

Oh he did it alright. With a huge crowd to boot.

It was amazing to see, even just for a moment, a crowd of people come together in one collective cheer for a cause that was truly pure.

It’s interesting scrolling through the search results. Seems like a lot of schools, municipalities, and the Philippines have a problem with distinguishing between confidential and public.

Don’t call me before 9pm my friend!

Hey now, Don’t kink shame the weirdos

Boeing used to be one of those companies you felt proud to work for. Kind of like IBM back in the day. The work mattered. The employees mattered. Boeing is a classic example of Capitalistic Enshitifcation. The amount of cost cutting and lack of oversight has gotten us to this point. Planes literally flying apart, in 2024, for no other reason than brazen irresponsibility and greed.

Explain to me a fixed number of days to strike? Isn’t the point of striking that you refuse to work UNTIL there is a deal struck? Why only 3 days?

Man, can you imagine what it must be like to be a recruiter for Amazon?

I’m not sure if this report mentions it but I remember reading recently that we’ve pumped so much ground water out of the earth, it’s affected the tilt of the fucking planet. Man we are a shithole species.

As someone who’s lost people during 9/11 and saw the towers fall from New Jersey… you can make fun of me for all of the above.
