Historia Civilis has a series of videos covering Rome. In the one below, Rome has descended into conflict between political gangs. I am personally expecting something similar to go down in the US within a couple years.

Nobody's Year: CHAOS (57 B.C.E.)

Honestly, I think that America we knew needs to be broken, on progressive terms. The conservatives are aiming to shatter America, such as Curtiss Yarvin and Peter Thiel. As such, the best option is to oblige them by cutting them out of our society. That means taking control of real things, such as factories, farms, hospitals, mines, weather stations, water, and so forth.

They worship money. Let them have it, in its meaningless glory when there is no people nor property for it to command.

If there is a civil war, I look forward to shitty rulings like Buck vs Bell to be overturned by the good guys. This kind of shit is a black mark on human decency.

It doesn't help that suicide by gun is considered the same as gun violence. Accurate metrics are important, and the people upstairs don't want to provide.

I think most people wouldn't want to. Unfortunately, I suspect that the Trump Regime only offers two choices: submit to an existence of GOP rule for the rest of our lives, or force the GOP out of existence.

As a very lazy person, I would prefer to coast throughout my life and not worry about much. Unfortunately, that gets harder with each year that passes: the economy is getting worse, RFK wants to send me to an wellness farm, innocents are being trafficked to death camps in El Salvador, and rules that erode liberty for the everyday person are being imposed upon us.

If people like myself don't get into a "start over" mindset, we might end up paying the price for the rest of our lives.

I think the solution is Universal Basic Income with benefits, paired with fixed income ranks. Everyone within a rank gets exactly the same pay each year. Each job class falls into a specific rank, determined by objectively developed ERK metrics - Effort, Risk, Knowledge. Wealth and assets is capped alongside income, so someone like Bezos, Musk, or Trump can't have excessive wealth. In addition to this, I think that education should be treated as a paying job, rather than something that student pay for. A student forced to be a barista isn't able to focus on mastering their intended specialty, which is bullshit.

IMO, money should be for upgrading lifestyle, not used for survival. This would allow people to freely strike or protest, since their income doesn't dictate whether they get to eat or have a place to live.

While my concept is completely artificial, I would argue that the excessively wealthy distorts economic reality - so we might as well go with an deliberate distortion that serves everybody, rather than the few.

One reason why I want to have a house to myself: organization. I live with a hoarder and a slob, which means the kitchen counters get filled with random stuff, and the floor has tripping hazards. Plus the generally unsightly nature of just having stuff jumbled about. While I am not a clean freak by any means (DUST!), I would like to properly shelf things or to walk around without surprises.

There are some things you can't really fight, one of them being wealthier relatives who own the shelter you reside in. So long as I am stuck in my current residence, I cannot have peace of mind beyond my room.

True. Even the Nordic Model nations are backsliding from what I hear. It is why I think that we need to try an wholly artificial economic system, with rules and principles. Similar to a Constitution's framework, but focused on providing for the wellbeing of all citizens.

I hope the justice enacts contempt of court, and deputizes people to make the arrests. Preferably, minorities who have a stake in seeing justice done.

The only way I can see a coming back is for the US - or rather, whatever comes after, to implement a socialist government that leapfrog's the advances of the Nordic nations. North America has tremendous resources and a great deal of land, but has always hamstrung its potential due to the 1% hoarding that bounty. In the event that the 1% are eliminated from society, it is very possible that the ordinary American could get the education and means to make themselves fulfill their potential.

Hopefully, the likes of Trump and his friends will hang out together, someday.

If the wealthy's heads end up in baskets, the Buffets won't be among them.

I guess Sanders and DeVito used a fusion dance to achieve this form.
