How do I work out my personal heart rate zone boundaries?
So this one time in my early 20s, I was at a hippie sort of festival- type thing (rainbow gathering, for anyone interested) up in the hills in Yorkshire. The toilet situation was just piss on the grass, anywhere outside of the main areas, use your common sense. For number twos, there were "shit-pits", it's a trench, you squat with one foot on each side, take a shit, then chuck in a handful of two of fire ash and soil to cover it, job done. There's a beach windbreak for a bit of privacy, and the pits are a bit away from where other stuff is going on. So anyway, there I am, squatting, getting ready to answer a call of nature, when this young woman comes and squats down right in front of me, facing me. Beautiful woman, big long dreads, cute face, nose ring... I freeze up, most awkward I've ever been, while she maintains eye contact, squeezes one out, wipes up, and goes on her way without a word. Then I unfreeze and carry on with my day. Weird memory.
Hard to give much advice without knowing much about your lifestyle, but I try to prioritise sleep above all else. If I need to be up at 6am, I'll make my herbal tea at 8pm and start winding down, be in bed by 9.30 so I can read a bit and be sure I'm asleep by 10. If I'm having trouble sleeping I'll look at cutting caffeine completely, and/or no screens before bed. The other part (for me) is physical activity/ exercise. It's hard to get started when you're exhausted, but once it's a habit, it gives you more reserves. And improves your sleep.

Having a cold shower at the end is probably number 1 if I made a list of things I do right in life that most people don't do. I feel so clean and comfortable for ages afterwards, no matter if I'm in my house or the middle of the forest, summer or winter. Best thing my dad ever taught me. (I mean he's still alive, so technically 'best so far', but I'm not holding my breath).
Lol at UK being more liberal than Ireland! Yes in terms of their abortion laws they were very behind until recently, but in every other way I can think of Ireland has been way more progressive. UK politics meanwhile (driven by middle England Sun readers) busy trying to brexit ourselves back to the spirit of the blitz or something. Can't wait to get my blue passport, God save the king!

I am a middle aged engineering student (undergrad) with two young daughters (6 and 8), so many of the things you refer to are on my mind a lot.
In my country (UK) the number of male teachers/carers is strongly proportional to the age of the student. Nursery staff : predominantly women Primary school staff: maybe a few men as main teachers Secondary school: is it 50/50? or still more like 70/30? (I dunno, it's a long time since I was there, and my kids aren't there yet)
Anyway, it's easy to have young boys, especially if (their father works away, or is otherwise distant from the family), get up to the age of being aware of Andrew Tate with very few male role models.
That's the great thing tho, the rules are very simple, anyone can pick up how to play. Then the strategy has so many layers that people can devote a lifetime of study to it, and it can become quite a psychological battle of wills between the two players in a way. But you can enjoy it right from the beginning without all that. And the handicap system means a game between players of very different skill can still be fun. Man I need to get back into playing go!
It's not just you, it's much safer to read disturbing content than watch it on TV, it has something to do with how your mind forms memories. I think while reading your mind will on some level make up pictures to go with it, but only has access to the libraries of what you can already imagine. So if you have nightmares about it later or whatever it can still be challenging, but it's hard to get as traumatised as you can by seeing images on TV/film or irl. My source for this is something my wife read while we were researching ways to help our little girl, who gets freaked out by certain things on TV very easily. It seems to hold true for her at least.
Thanks everyone for all the helpful replies. A lot of people mentioned the office webapps, personally I've always detested these. Things like keyboard shortcuts for sub/superscript and support for IEEE referencing were not available as far as I remember, and in general they were more minimal than the desktop version and so slower if you needed to use many features. I think the consensus is I will stick with Windows for my uni work for now, but I can try out onlyoffice, and use a bootable USB to start learning more about Linux for later on down the road. Cheers!

You could as easily say it's increased by 2800% (correct me if I'm wrong) since then, which sends the opposite message, but neither are good ways of showing what's really going on...
I've seen a lot of good suggestions, but I wanted to point out the common theme that a marinade should have oil, salt, acid, and unami (savory/ meatiness). So for asian style maybe sesame oil, vinegar, Soy sauce (Soy sauce does salt + unami). Or my mum's was orange juice, red wine, garlic, salt & pepper. I'd maybe add some Worcestershire sauce or olive brine for a bit extra unami, but smell it, taste it, go with your gut...
