If you were to use their network to take advantage of the features for anything that the “predator” behind doesn’t care, you’re fine.

But what will the predator care about tomorrow? Or next year? And how confident are you that aggregate data is not what they want, for whatever reason?

Also violating their consent.

Every time I make them put their shoes on. Make them do their homework. Eat their vegetables. Be home at a certain time.

Parenting is all about violating consent. Children get input, not veto rights.

Should we be learning things that aren't true?

Scientists were so caught up with weather they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.

I'm gonna be extra nasty to him.

Best we keep reminding them of it.

To a certain extent, yes.

I used to do a dirty job. I spent most days trying hard to minimize the amount of grime I got on my hands. Some days it got past the wrist, despite my best efforts, and at that point, I would just give up and dive in.

Some people just process these things better by forcing themselves to put them into words. Journals, for some people are not written to be read, but to be written.

I was like they in high school. Wrote out my thoughts. Lose-leaf paper in my binder with me other school stuff, so they didn't survive more than a few months. But the writing was the point. No-one was ever going to read them, not even me.

This is probably a good thing to study, but somehow I don't expect this administration to use anything they discover to improve the way we handle everything around the transitioning. I get the distinct impression that they will use the existence of the study to make things worse for everyone.

Hummm. No boob jokes. This might be legitimate.

Yea. If we had a proper president, we could get him back. Three step program.

1 Ask them to send him back.

2 Park a CBG off their coast, just inside their territorial waters.

3 Ask them to send him back, or else.

Might not be a great idea, in terms of ongoing international relations, but we would get our guy back.
