And of course, Channel 7 and Channel 9 have published hit-pieces against the Privacy Commission in defence of Bunnings.

They have broadcast video of employees being attacked!

Most of the arseholes who are arseholes on the Internet are arseholes I’m real life too.

People who chat at the grocery store, or wish you a good day when you are waking in the street are also usually people who are friendly and helpful on the Internet too.

People who get angry because someone else has the gumption to share a road with them are also the kind of people who abuse other Internet users because they share a server in an online game, social network or forum with them. They are also the type of people who get angry queuing at the supermarket and abuse retail workers.

Different people lost different things during the Pandemic.

Some lost their independence and freedom. Some lost their social ties. Some lost their innocence and ignorance.

They were the lucky ones.

Lots more people lost their lives and quite a few still haven’t realised that they have lost their good health.

The bottom has dropped out of the OEM software licence market. Microsoft have to find a different way of making money. Their loss-leading hardware sales have not borne fruit so they are getting desperate.

All they have left is services, which means that the only way the can actually make money is selling out their customers private information.

The only reason why Dutto is pushing Nuclear as an option is because he is a crony.

Wind power generation has a barrier to entry, but it is much lower than Coal or Fracking, which is why there is so much corporate-sponsored astroturfing against it. Coal and Fracking also has a lower barrier to entry, but is cheap compared to Nuclear.

Solar is the great equaliser. Anyone can throw a handful of solar panels on their roof, connect them to an array of old car batteries and add an inverter and voila! Instant home power generation. Get out from under of the boot of Power Companies and be self-sufficient (as long as you don’t want to use a hair-dryer).

If the proles can get of free energy and no longer need to rely on The Grid, all of the Corporations that own Dutto will no longer have any political power.

Dutto is not offering Nuclear as an alternative to Coal and LNG to the electorate, he is offering it as an alternative to his lords and masters.

Great news, but does anyone else get Nanites/Grey Goo vibes from this?

Some people think that Google is trustworthy. They still believe that the motto “Do No Evil” was ever relevant.

Considering all the Bloatware that Microsoft has been pumping out lately (don’t get me started or Outlook), this may be a good excuse to get a Radeon Graphics Card.

If I can be guaranteed that installing this software will prevent having to deal with CoPilot, I would jump on that straight away.

Scrub Mommy either has lots of little Scrub Daughters or Scrub Mommy is also Scrub Daddy and is “special friends” with another Scrub Mommy/Daddy.

As plenty of other people have already said, if YouTube Premium went up by a pittance every month (boiling frog price increases) I would probably keep subscribing. The fact that they A) clamped down on AdBlockers and B) increased Premium rates is a major disappointment.

Add to this that Patreon are introducing invasive User Agreements and it is getting more difficult to support Independent content creators.

Platforms like Curiosity Stream are looking more and more appealing to those of us who want interesting content and don’t mind parting with a reasonable amount of cash to support creators.

In a non-local language.

This also provides a minimal level of security against robocall scams.

The cream on top of this cherry is that Meta claim that they don’t have any ex-twitter employees.

“Andy Stone, Meta’s communications director, told Semafor that Twitter’s accusations are baseless. “No one on the Threads engineering team is a former Twitter employee — that’s just not a thing,” he said.”
