You certainly picked a doozy of an example, as I think I only ever see it mentioned by people trying to drum up China hate - who usually go on to ignore Palestine, India, Brazil, and I'm sure many ethnic cleansing cases I'm forgetting.

Ironically it has a meaning, and Cuba, Jamaica, Bolivia, and Venuzeula (just sticking to a handful of American examples) are not third world countries... Or weren't anyhow, the term no longer really has meaning post cold war.

Frank's Red Hot
Cholula

And a great that's hard to get: Yellow Dragon Lantern Pepper Mash (黄灯笼) from Hainan. Amazing fruity flavour and hotter than hell.

Can't even use a Teflon pan if you have a budgie or the fumes will kill it.

So I think it is probably quite bad.

It's harder to advocate for destroying things one possesses.

If we want to end Capitalism, not being invested in it is probably more helpful than not.

That said, I have met a fair few people that would fall under the label of "Leftist" that have had small businesses. Although not the hyper-radical left.

Off the top of my head the villain in one of the Iron Man films was opposed to US war crimes and imperialism, New New Spider Man 1 had the Vulture as a villain whose deal was Stark and the wealthy were screwing people over.

In Batman Begins 3 Bane is a pastiche of anarchism/anti-capital ideas until revealed that that's a play by Talia.

Well intentioned extremist is a pretty common villain trope in general.

Ceres is a planet.

Makemake, Hamuhea, Pluto, and Eris can come too I guess.

Edit: I am the problem. Mindless quotes to show being in the know really don't add anything. I shall do better.

Consider it dun!

I think it's that we don't really call them stereotypes when they're not applied to people.

At that point it's just a hueristic.

Ironically the Luddites were very aware the system was the problem, they made system changing demands.

Mainstream history has decided to make them into a terrified of new technology pastiche of the truth.

At the beginning of each upkeep, lose two life and draw 2 sodas.

I've certainly met people who claim Capitalism is the key for LGBT acceptance and less overt racism, and therefore supports those people.

I am far more with you on your point of view. Capitalism only supports making more money.
