And btw Pluja, I've been trying to reach you on Session or Nostr, and not Github. What are you microsoft's PR? c'mon brother. walk the walk, not the talk

The majority of matrix servers do require google & email though, especially when compared to xmpp.

as far as dendrite goes, we're talking about using Tor & a degoogled phone without google push notifications. can you honestly tell me that matrix is not slower than XMPP here?

As far as xmpp e2ee multi-device, you're right that it's not perfect. I agree with your criticism, but it's BETTER than matrix.

Nowhere in the Monero wallet article did it say that it's hard. You are criticizing content by using OTHER different content of this, such as Proton. There is a big difference between being an email provider and helping someone setup their own email server with DNS. If you look at the services on the website, such as Linux support, you will find things that a beginner most definitely will want help.

Ah ok, that was meant for someone who wants to setup OpenVPN on a VPS that they can SSH into. But this person does not want to do the work. So the company can provide the service of setting up what you like on a VPS

From the website itself or the video?

Hey thanks for the reply. So we were using Flux and Peertube together at first but it was too slow. Now it's on Bunny CDN as they respect GDPR and we registered as EU. If we get big enough, we'll rent the servers for the CDN ourselves. The issue with Peertube by itself is that the other people sharing it could be using cloudflare, AWS, ect. then what is the point... For example Techlore uses AWS for his peertube. And filecoin / IPFS is too slow right now for delivery, as the file hosts are not rewarded by bandwidth.

You should not be getting permission denied because there's no advanced security like Tor blocking. You can use Tor, just set to standard mode on JS

You're right about the speed. We got a fast CDN now: https://video.simplifiedprivacy.com/
