I'm trying to expand my library of classic game/game-inspired music. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I'm including some music that I particularly enjoy for reference.

Aethernaut - Neo-SF strut from 2064: Read-Only Memories.

20XX from 20XX.

Forest Mystery from World of Horror. A bit esoteric but it's wild.

Thanks in advance for the recommendations!

Florida is such a shithole state

Correct. That is their plan. They've already made at least 1 ruling based on a fabricated case of discrimination.

Lol I envy your optimism.

Never used Usenet before, so I'm not sure what else I need.

Of course these bastards want to undo the will of the people.

I know there was an issue a while back with counterfeit batteries on places like Amazon. Is there a good place to buy 18650's?

Anyone have good places to watch for deals?

I've misplaced my BLF Q8 (it still exists), but I'm looking for a floody replacement that gets silly bright and takes 4x18650's (or better) .

I have Mullvad and my torrent app isn't set to split tunnel. Is there any way to verify that traffic is going through Mullvad?

It seems like open back are the defacto recommendation for headphones. I already own an AKG K240 and since I intend to use them around other people, I don't want the noise bleed. What do people prefer for closed back applications? I've been looking at the DT 770 Pro's and the Hifiman Sundara Closed. I really like a sound signature with a bass emphasis. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I've been trying to find the name of a song from The Grand Tour on Amazon, but there's only a few seconds of music and none of the Shazam-like applications can identify it. Is there a Lemmy community for helping people identify music? If anyone is curious about the song, I'm linking it below:

Lost my wife (34) to cancer last month and I haven't found any good resources to help me. How do you cope with their loss? Please remove if this isn't allowed.

Rough question for a guy who just lost his wife at 35. I'd empty my account to be able to have the time over.

Tell TSA your username. They'll find something for you to do for 20 hours.

The original meme is a strawman about kids who are in detention because they're "being persecuted for their religious and political opinions." There's another comic the girl is being kicked out of her home because she was reading the bible. And the father says something to her about how she'd better go out and get pregnant and have an abortion. The comic "artist" is a persecution fetishist who makes up strawman arguments to feel oppressed.

I've been rickrolled by the wheel of fortune

You're not wrong.

Mississippi is typically ranked very low due to a history of poor public education standards as well as being a battleground for civil rights. Not much has changed.

Fortunately for Mississippi, Florida man is working overtime towards the enshitifcation of their own education system.

There's absolutely a direct correlation between education, human rights, and a higher standard of living.

I've got a large 3" 4-piece Mendo Mulcher with kief catcher, but removing the grind plate is very difficult with the lid on.

I also have a small Brilliant Cut grinder, but they don't have an option for a catcher, which I sort of prefer.

How is the Santa Cruz Shredder? What is everyone else using, besides sissors or quarters in medicine bottles?
