I believe someone else mentioned 55% of premium revenue goes to creators. That is a fairly significant share, plus the cost of hosting content and maintaining the appliances etc etc. It seems reasonable to me for less than $5 per person per month.
It's not so much about filling it up, but when someone goes to eventually renovate the place lol. Open the drywall and just have a bunch of blades to clean up... Or if you get a leak and have to now deal with a puddle of rusty blades.

You are missing a very important part of the GOP insanity.
Don't attempt to both sides this issue, they won't bring a bill to the floor that doesn't have support to pass WITHOUT bipartisan support. The entire GOP is run by extremists and has been for a long time. When your core principal says that you cannot be bipartisan, you are infact an extremist party by nature.

I totally understand where you are coming from, as I to pay for YT premium. However; when it comes to tracking, it is one of the few applications that I don't think works very well without it. Part of why I enjoy it most of the time is the interesting content the algorithm suggests, that I wouldn't otherwise be aware of.
I don't know the solution to that problem... Maybe the tracking stays within the YT world only, and isn't sold or used anywhere else?

Adding to this, the wealth disparity is going to continue to increase with those who have equities dramatically increasing their personal capitol, while the middle class is going to fall further behind.
I'm convinced a major part of inflation that goes completely ignored is the staggering amount of wealth generated by equities. People have literally seen 1 million become 2 or 3 over the last few years. They have been spending money with complete disregard... Watching what people buy at Costco is insane!
