another agency in my city tryna poach ya boy first time i've ever been hit up by a recruiter unprompted, makes me feel like a bit of a hotshot. my new job/promotion is Fine but a little stuffy, and these other positions might bring me closer to communities i grew up in/around so can't hurt to hear them out.

finished season 1 of the americans i am suuuuuuuuuuch a ho for watching longstanding complex relationships under a microscope rn. like aw yeah grow from a 15 year fake marriage into a real marriage but then have a rift where it seems like you're gonna split and then find your way back to one another. fuck yeah bring that decades long old flame back into the picture (oh there are two that's even better!) this right after mad men is like some good ass drugs for where my head is right now

nice feeling revisiting an old creative work i'd sort of lite-disowned to discover i actually like it a comparable amount to my follow-up works. it's just a bit different - less mean and softer on/more affectionate toward its characters, a touch sentimental despite the darker themes. less hopeless than my subsequent projects. guess i'm revisiting it in a more bittersweet headspace than i had been in, which is informing things.

therapist seemed pretty cool. seeing my general doc next week abt possibly going back on brain happy meds or at least to see if he can refer a psychiatrist if he isn't cool w/ that. look at me folks im doin a mental health like The Machine is always telling me to.
