I get it. I said I didn't think the expectations were unreasonable.

I think you're pretty much proving my point, though, that the game is unfairly maligned due to unmet expectations. The game they released, while buggy, was fun. You're pissed off about a lot of things that aren't how fun the game is to play.

This. I already don't own my music (Tidal, Spotify) or my movies (Netflix, etc) and I already have been using Gamepass for years just fine.

But movie streaming is a HOT MESS right now. I looked up the X-Men movie franchise the other day for some reason. No joke, it's split across 3 or 4 different streaming services! And next month, it could change. There are streaming services like Peacock or Paramount that have absolutely NOTHING worth watching except one or two shows (e.g. Parks and Rec or Picard) and I really want to watch it but there's no way I'm throwing down money for a streaming service just to watch one fucking show. All it does is piss me off.

If the same garbage happens with gaming where everyone thinks making their own is the way to go, instead of just using a few big ones, it will not succeed. Ubisoft making their own is a bad idea. It's bad for us for the reasons above and it's bad for them because we won't use it.

Destiny 2 wasn't free when it came out. Those assholes tricked me into paying for that garbage.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but NT was usually called NT 4.0 by those of us who worked with it. You're probably better off skipping it anyways, it was terrible for anything other than file server...ing.

I didn't pay for a spaceship sim. I paid for the next Wing Commander and Freelancer game. Whether I enjoy it or not, the product they're making isn't the product they sold me. Perhaps ~~wasting your money~~ buying the "game" now gives you a better chance of receiving the product you think you're paying for, but I wouldn't bet on it. They've already proven themselves to anyone paying the slightest attention.

Ow, I just rolled my eyes so hard it hurt. You sound 13.

Honestly, I think Idris Elba blows Keanu Reeves out of the water. Clearly we're on very different wavelengths if you think the acting in this is worse than the base game.

You realize that the 2.0 update that introduced all those new bugs is unrelated to the DLC right? Everyone got that update and those bugs regardless of whether they paid for the DLC.

I mean, musicians evolve as they age too. I'm in my 40's and don't much care for her earlier stuff. But the album "Lover" is really good and I quite enjoy her two chill covid-era albums. Maybe give some of that stuff a listen and see why so many people enjoy her stuff.

Honestly not sure what they can do to fix Starfield. Bug fixes and QoL aren't going to help the systemic issues the game has.
