This is how I learned about it. Afterwards, I talked to my teenage nieces who are both on Android and they confirmed that it's definitely a thing.

Admittedly I haven't been following US politics much since Biden took office and things calmed down a bit... so I was more than a little surprised to read that they're trying to impeach him. I couldn't possibly imagine what for since he's the most milquetoast president we've had in ages. Turns out it's not even him, it's "his family's shady business dealings" whatever the fuck that means.
Honestly, it's like the GOP has no concept of morality or laws and just heard someone say that Trump did that and it was bad so we should accuse Biden of it!
I didn't realize there was a cloud gaming option. I have Edge installed for work stuff (Teams and Outlook web) so I'll look into that option. Thanks!
EDIT - Looked into it, works surprisingly well! EXCEPT it requires a controller. Kinda the whole reason I want to play on my computer is to use KBM, otherwise I'll just use the ol Xbox. Oh well, maybe they'll improve it in the future. It's still a beta in theory.
This. It needs to be visually uncomplicated so I can actually see what's living on the desktop. Because of that, I prefer bottom right the most, though I generally like much darker backgrounds. Color shift that into something darker like an alien or night scene, and it'd be perfect for me.
I played Elite for a little bit, maybe a month or two, before it got to the point where it just felt like a job.
I love the X series. I have hundreds of hours in X4. It's definitely my favorite of the bunch.
Everspace 2 was fun, but never hoked me for some reason.
The most "Wing Commander" game in recent memory was Star Wars: Squadrons, IMHO. Shame they decided to make it CoD in space though... I'm not big on the multplayer aspect and the single player campaign was super short.
Starfield was a huge disappointment. etc etc
I believe they said the last expansion for X4 was the last one. Here's hoping there's an X5 coming.
Not to mention Fingers had the best Sandevistan and leg mods in the game and not punching him is SO HARD! Now neither of those mods are in the game anymore and you can safely beat the crap out of Fingers with no regrets.
I've been using AdGuard DNS and I've been really happy with it. What don't you like about it? It would help to recommend another one know know specifically what the issue is.
And to confirm, you're talking about using the "Private DNS" functionality in Android?
Oh I probably should have mentioned that I've only played solo so far. Are you saying it has invading pvp like Elden Ring? I didn't even realize that was in the game. I didn't change any settings to turn it off (though it's set to "friends only"... maybe that did it?).
I can definitely imagine that sucking. But it seems like the kind of thing that can easily be turned off...
Looking like the Tesla connector is well on its way to becoming the standard now. GM, Ford, Rivian, (I'm forgetting one), and now Mercedes all switching over. The Tesla Supercharger network in the US is fantastic, much better than the alternative. Hopefully that doesn't go downhill as more cars flood the network.
Windows 10. No idea why anyone is using Win11.
I've tried Linux every few years for the last few decades and it's never been at a point where I can switch. I am in the process of trying again, however.
Started today trying to dual boot it on a Windows laptop that has a boot SSD and data HDD. Tried resizing the HDD and installing Nobara and can't get the machine to boot into Grub (the suggested fix on their site didn't work, possibly because of the two physical drives). Searching for a solution was fruitless and I'm honestly over it already. I want an OS, not a hobby.
The very definition of insanity right here. There is ALWAYS something that doesn't work and I'm not a fucking idiot but I'm not a developer either. Linux fans act like people on Windows have no excuse not to switch but I've been trying since the 90s and Linux just does everything it can to frustrate me. God knows how someone who's not tech savvy is supposed to figure anything out. /rant
That game was super fun right up until I hit the artificial grind wall.
Oh you need to be gear level X to play with your friends. Here's enough crafting mats to try raising your gear level once per day at a 1% chance of success. And once you get past gear level X, you'll need to be gear level Y and your chance of success goes DOWN!
Yeah, no thanks.
The irony of arguing for the death penalty while taking the moral high road on "adding negative things the the world"... wow.
