I'm confused by the word "but" in that headline. Seem like they are trying to imply cause and effect when the reality is that readers trust outlets less who use AI whether they label them or not.

If you're not doing anything crazy, there's no reason linux should be any harder to use than Windows.

Once you're up and running, daily life will be pretty straightforward.

Plenty of great advice in the other posts that I won't rehash. One thing I didn't see mentioned is using a live boot to try out linux. You can basically run it off a USB stick before you install it to get a feel for what it's like. Most "beginner friendly" distros will have tutorials on how to create the live disk. Example for Pop!_OS: https://support.system76.com/articles/live-disk/

They found out what? Their business wasn't affected at all as far as I can tell. They should have been broken up and shut down but instead they got caught doing the same thing AGAIN.

So yeah, not sure what Tesla is going to find out other than "money means you can get away with anything", which Musk already knows well.

And just to be clear, I own a Tesla. I just got it back from the shop after ELEVEN MONTHS because those fucking tools would rather sell more cars on false promises than divert some parts to repair the cars they've already sold. I love that car but I'm selling it. Nobody should go anywhere near Tesla cars until they get their supply chain shit together.

Not a fan of market consolidation. It's bad for the consumer at the end of the day.

But if I were to look for a silver lining: 1 More quality Gamepass content and 2 Maybe MS can save Blizzard from itself.

It's funny, as often as I see these posts about free games on the Epic Games Store, I still have absolutely no desire to ever install or use it.

Well they can't make EA any worse, right? Right??

Serious question: do you or anyone you know use cloud gaming ever? I feel like people keep trying to push it and it inevitably fails because it's a product NOBODY is asking for!

Katamari Damacy is one of the greatest games of all time. It's a shame the creator doesn't get rewarded more for it. Definitely looking forward to seeing what he does next.

They could to do that...

OR

They could let parents make their own decisions on what our children play and fuck off.

My life has taken many twists and turns and there are a lot of things that I could have done better.

But I have only ONE regret that I would change if I could meet my younger self.

I regret smoking cigarettes for 8 years in my teens and early twenties. Cancer sucks. A lot.

HA! It's funny cuz it's true! Eve is much more fun to read about than to play.

For me, it's most mobile games I've spent a large amount of time in. Recently it's Marvel SNAP. Before that it was SWGoH. These games are fun fun and they hook you but eventually you play enough to see all the levers they're using to manipulate you and it sours. I should really stop playing them... lol

I installed Connect, Jerboa and Liftoff. Those are the three that are on the Play Store (so easy to install) and look professional (sorry Lemmotif).

I opened each one and Liftoff immediately stood out for how cleanly it presented the information. I am not a huge fan of the navigation style, I assume that's the iOS style with the buttons on the bottom. I'm sure I can get used to it.

Connect was pretty good too. Easy to tell posts apart, though I like Liftoff's presentation slightly better. Connect put the pic/preview above the header info, while Liftoff always has the header first. I much prefer Liftoff's style there. Connect uses a very familiar navigation bar on the right, which I really like. The color scheme is ass, hopefully that changes later.

Jerboa... I literally can't tell when one post ends and another begins. Completely unusable IMHO.

So I am going to mess with Connect and Liftoff a bit and see which is better from a day to day usability perspective. They both have pros and cons at first glance so it's time to dig deeper.

EDIT - Okay gave Jerboa another shot and it's not that bad. It's actually pretty decent within a given post. I'll mess with it some more too.
